You used to be able to maintain your cars without all this. They design it that way so most people just take to the dealer. More money for them. They also use more plastic so it wears out n has to be replaced.

I would change all the bulbs, not just the one. My daughter will be changing out the lights on her Silverado. Both Linz are cracked. Fun.

I've a Ford F150 and I believe it's 5 bolts and done... I did learn the hard way about using gloves 😮😂

I haven't had to change them on my Ram yet but I think they may be more complicated than an F150. I like my old Explorer...no bolts, just unplug from the back of the headlight housing.
