- Mine is from AliExpress in China. It cost $400. Free shipping. The gentleman I dealt with tested the unit before shipping and was very nice. I never spoke with him but we texted several times and his written English was great. It took about 15 days to arrive. The tracking updates on AliExpress doesn’t update most of the time, so it’s better to use the actual website of the company that is doing the shipping. AliExpress is a great site to use and I prefer them over EBay from the standpoint of issues/refunds. eBay can take weeks sometimes to get a refund. AliExpress has refunded me same day in the past.

You don't have to cut the dash. There are 4 screws on the main brain of the radio that you take out, move up the unit to the top, then replace the screws.
Also, if you have factory navigation you can reuse your stock Shark Fin with an adapter. You need to find and buy this:

I tried this. You may have a different model. I have the same one in this video. The screws don't reach if you try to move it up. They aren't long enough. What I did was flip the metal plate around that positioned the opening up top. This way you still can use the screw pedestals for the main unit. Even after all that the unit still didn't fit in. The dash needs to be cut.
@@truthja Weird. I got mine from Aotsr (Aliexpress) just like Mareno and I was able to get it to fit fine and another guy from the CTSVOWERS forum also got his to fit.

Yooo I JUST grabbed this identical screen on ebay instead of direct from site and its from same seller just thru ebay page , was like $499. But yes bro, it has steering controls. Works just as if it were stock. One thing to know is you will lose the lil screens for the heated/cooling seats. Don't know if they show on main screen somehow, haven't gotten there yet lol but highly suggest you grab from ebay page to save dough.
I was on site to use Afterpay but it wasn't too user friendly as kept giving error but Ebay was all good, protected purchase and I used Afterpay THERE and split purchase into 4 which I use pay in 4 apps for every purchase over $100 and wifey and I love it! Grab This set up and completely changes the vibe of ur ride.

Fir My Man thanks for the video. If I may offer a few things when you're doing instructional videos. Don't leave any details unexplained. Here I can sort of intuit this but I would have liked you to:
1. Let us all know whether it's the pop up stye screen or just the regular
2. Why you're running the engine and when it has to be on or off (I was able to intuit that you are running it to move the shifter but not everyone knows that.

@MrSamPhoenix 20 years in car audio and custom car fabrication. Things like using a screw driver to remove the panels, the battery was still hooked up. Just so many things.

Does it affect the AC working when i start the car remotely? Or the AC still work when i start the car remotely?
Awesome setup mate and I think I'm going to do the same 10 inch display that you did. I currently have a double din sized android head unit that I put in 2 years ago and this setup is way better. How is the android in this setup so far with this head unit? Is the Bluetooth stable? Are the equalizer presets for subwoofer and what not decent?
Thank you!! I just posted a video of my initial thoughts and will be doing another one soon because I’m finding so many new and cool things to do on the radio. To your questions, it does have full equalizer control over all speakers and the sub. The Bluetooth has been stable. It seems to connect to Bluetooth right away and doesn’t randomly drop the connection.
Thank you for this video, very helpful. Do you know how I'd go about connecting the factory reverse camera to this unit? It appeared that you had wired the camera that came with the kit, but I'm hoping to re-use the existing camera and/or wiring. Thanks!
Can you make the on screen hvac controls dissappear? Also do you have the bose system from factory?

I routed it behind the dash and had it exit at the speedometer cluster so that it would have a direct path for my voice.

So you bought the base 32G model? I was looking at the 8+256G model. The only reason I haven't changed from stock is I didn't want the small screen to show in Celsius. This one solves for that.
Yep, I was very happy to find I was able to change it from Celsius and change the speed from kilometers. This thing is very fast with no lag time. Very happy with the product. Be careful about the 8+256G, all that means is that you can hook up an external hard drive up to 256G. It is not what you will have on the unit. It will still have only 4G of RAM.
@@marenothecarguy8361 Thanks for that! What format does the USB use? I'd like to put music on a USB drive and access it through the unit. Also how does the Cooled seats display when in use? I saw the Heated Option.
@@marenothecarguy8361 The 8-256 is Octa-Core with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. I loaded all 34GB of my music to the internal storage.
Hey! Awesome video. I followed everything you did, but I'm not getting any power to the radio. All it does is turn on the hazard lights. Any idea why? Thanks.
Ok, so I think we need to approach this from a trouble shooting perspective. So I would suggest you first double check that the big plug did engage completely. Then check the radio fuse on the car side and check the fuses on the actual radio itself. I wild then make sure the CANBUS box that came with the radio is connected correctly.

How are you reusing the usb port in arm rest?
Just installed and works great - except there is no audio whatsoever! Its all connected even the rca you mention. Do you have the bose audio? I feel like it's probably an issue with the amplifier, not turning it on etc..
I have the Bose as well. Have you tried listening to the radio vs an app like Pandora to see if one gives sound but the other doesn’t?
Also did you go into Settings and click on the icon with the wrench & screwdriver? There are settings in there for sound.

@@marenothecarguy8361Got it to work. Mine appears to be a slightly new version. There is a red wire and blue wire both called AMP that need to be connected. I suspected this but was hesitant because one has a connector and the other does not. Chinese support confirmed to connect them anyway. Then, the volume was very loud so there is a setting near the amp enable that you can lower it overall. Just got it all working but its very nice. Had the access/metra kit but that was very buggy, and glad I waited for this instead of the unit that is always im Celsius. Thanks for the video!

Any issues with rattling noses from all those wiring connections back there ? Would you do anything different if you had to do it again?
No rattle noises at all from the wiring. In regard to what I would do differently, I would say nothing. I really like the whole setup. I did install an amp and subs afterwards.

Actually those are separate from the steering wheel.

Work with 2013 XTS?
They make them for the XTS as well. In fact, the XTS is cheaper in price.
Is it still running smooth for you? No glitches?
The only thing I've notice is the Pandora app when using Apple Carplay sometimes takes a minute to begin playing music.
