Fr Paul, my family and I still think about and pray for your parish after our single visit last year. May you all have a blessed Lent, and may God have mercy upon us - Phocas
There's a prayer that you do from the jordanville prayer book that regains you guardian angel. Go to holy confession to a priest and regain your angel through repentance. Keep the hope! Christ loves you.
Thank you for this! My daughter was just asking our spiritual Father about this and wasnt feeling she understood. Im going to share this with her. It was helpful to me as well!
Great video. I have a serious question though. You say an angel is given at orthodox baptism. What about those who were never baptized orthodox but only chrismated due to being told their non-orthodox baptism was sufficient?
I have a strong belief angel's watch everyone good/evil and they know individually who you are. I have a channel ericecw117 I explain more on this subject
I was raised Baptist and have recently started going to my local Orthodox Church. Do I not have a guard angel until I’m baptized in the Orthodox Church?
I was saved from being killed by van by divine intervention when I was 16. I turned around and no one was there but something pulled me by the back of my shirt.
Amazing blessing! My Father had that happened to him as well when young. Took one step into a big whole and as falling, pulled out. So hmm.. pretty common- holy acts from God's mercy.
Your angel is assigned to you always, but we try to keep our angel with us and active through our life of repentance. Even if we ended up in hell, our angel will still continue to bat for us to the Lord finding good deeds. Finding something in us that had taken place pleasing to the Lord to help bring us from the pits of hell and to acquire the Kingdom of God.

And that means truth does not speak only through sacred traditions and the scriptures, but at times, through "you" in a state receptive to the Holy Spirit. And since before there are "others," there is "you," it makes sense that it is also wise to follow your inner convictions from the Holy Spirit to determine which traditional practice of making the sign of the cross is good, or, both are good, or, both traditions should be null and void from your life ... Understand? ... My humble advice to you, is that you should never blindly follow any authority without consulting the Spirit of Truth within your self. In 2019 to 2021, we saw many who blindly followed doctors, the news, politicians, and even priests to take a Covid19 prick, and because many didn't listen to their inner selves, they have received serious adverse reactions. I am convince, it doesn't matter how you make the sign of the cross. It is not found in scriptures. I do have inner convictions to use it. Thank you, and please have a blessed St. Gregory Palmas' Day! Many thanks from Arkansas.

God be with you and family.
Panagia, pray for us
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us.
Please pray for me I haven't been worthy enough & I'm not sure if my angel would be around after all my ruthlessness

@@paulbaba3356- I learn doing a good deed before you come to God in prayer will make it effective. What are your thoughts?
If there was hope for me, then there is hope for you. ☦️
Attend holy confession and ask for him to be with you. Ask the Lord for His mercy.
Continue to Confess to Christ your sins and receive absolution from a priest. ☦️

From the very beginning Paul taught about schisms in the Church.
The believers that the Apostles baptised, received the Holy Spirit…

In the Orthodox Church, we are taught that we receive our guardian angel at baptism.

Hello Father, thank you for this. I was not aware of families having guardian angels. Do nations also have guardian angels? Greetings from England
I do know they have patron saints.
Can you cite the verses in Scripture reflecting all of this? Would love to see this! Thank you and God bless 🙏✝️
This came from the lives of saints and teachings from holy elders. The best I can do
So the guardian angel stays with me or leave by my choice ????
We continue to repent and are prayers to your guardian Angel to help you in this.
By God's will, we constantly repent and the angel will stay with us and protect us.
Confess and repent to the Lord.

How do u know who is my guardian angel?
When you're Baptism through the Holy Orthodox Church
where does this idea come from and since when it became church doctrine?
Has come to us through the lives of saints and other sources throughout the church. Do the research on this and you'll see
