I am losing my mind. The manual says press and hold the menu button to change modes/access settings. I am holding menu and all that happens is the little key icon in the top left corner (which the manual doesn't mention at all) just disappears or reappears.
@@vd9458 Yeah. Instead of just holding it down and waiting for the. menu to pop up, just click it in and hold it for a second at most and then let go. The release is what triggers the menu.

While not recording you press the menu button and use the right arrow to go all the way down. You will get to "Audio Recording" Once you press the "okay" button, it will give you the option to turn audio recording on or off.
