Depending on how long I had my last wash day determines how long it takes me on my wash day. I also try to clean my bathroom and do a little pedicure when my deep conditioner is on my hair.
Heyy lovely ..thanks for watching 💖🙏🏾 it’s the same for me as well….recently I’ve been trying to stick to a 2 week wash just because it’s so hot here so my scalp can get quite oily ….🤣🤣 omg sometimes I clean as well ….depending on the type of DC I do that day.
I only spend about one hour washing and detangling my hair too. I don't have the patience for more than 2 hours in the shower 💀. I don't like detangling my hair before washing, it always ends up in a disaster. If i wear my hair in my afro then it takes me 20 minutes to slightly stretch my hair with braids and that's that until the next weekend 🤷🏿♀️. But I've been doing mini twists and braids lately so it takes me forever to style my hair now since I'm a newbie in doing my own hair.
I just came across your channel and your hair is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I think your curls are a little more loose then my curls and much thicker than my hair. That's my goal to thicken my hair and fill in from the hormonal hair loss. Love your wash routine and thanks for such great video.
It takes me roughly 1hour or less to wash, condition, deep condition and air dry after I finish. The next day Ill style my hair. It takes me 30mins to do. Personally taking care of our hair doesnt have to be time consuming. If you dedicate a day where your available you can get it done in know time 😊
I wash my hair like this but in more sections because my hair isn’t as long as yours and is superrr dense. I always detangle prior to washing and I feel like I do it for nothing because even when washing in twists my roots get extremely tangled and sometimes mattes??? Like I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. I’m heavy handed with my shampoo though and perhaps the types I use are too harsh on my hair 👀. This looks so stress free though 😭.
I think we need to realize at some point that natural type 4 hair really was never meant to be "fully detangled" that's why most naturals with long hair don't even be using tools like that, they just use their fingers and à comb for a finishing touch
Yeah everybody is always saying wash your hair in twists to reduce tangles but my roots matt so I don't really do it for that reason anymore. I do it for easier access to my scalp personally.
If you wash your hair once a month or 4 times a week when you do wash your hair in twist it might be the reason why it’s matted natural hair is easier to wash when you do It once a week
When I wash my hair in twists I use Aussie moist conditioner the reason why this conditioner is good to use is because it has dimenthcone another reason why your hair might be getting tangles when you wash your hair is because you might be using a non silicone conditioner
Also do you blow dry every wash day if you wash your hair in its natural sate that might be another reason why its so tangled on wash day washing natural hair in twist in a stretched state is easier
