This glove from what I gather is made for “Rubber Baseball in Japan” the GR code is what identifies this as a rubber baseball glove. Not sure how different they are. Looking to get one myself but would like to know the difference.
My friend recently went to Tokyo and at the Baseman Store they showed him the rubber ball section and the baseball section. The price was significantly less for the rubber ball. Interestingly, He brought me a Wilson Staff Baseball glove from that store, and I feel like the leather quality (some what ) was really similar to this glove. Also similar in lightweight.
So just for clarifty, these Heart of The Hide gloves from Japan all say Pro Excel (maybe even the word Elite). Compared to the American HoH gloves... Whats the actual difference?
My Japan exclusive glove says made in Vietnam. I hopes it not fake. It looks super legit I don’t see how it could be. It says Vietnam on the tag and the inside.
I doubt it’s fake. It’s likely it’s a “Japan “ Exclusive meaning it is only sold in Japan but it was manufactured in Vietnam. This glove has “Philippines “ stamped on the inside

It feels great. Fast break in. Can definitely be used for baseball. It’s lighter than your standard HOH
Still trying to figure out how to get gloves from Japan but I don't have any connections over there so im trying to go online but no luck yet

Perfectly fine to use for baseball. It may not lost as long due to how light it is.
