I totally agree! I've listened to all the new songs about a million times and "Please, Santa, Please" fills me with pure Christmas joy, "Kiss from a Rose" knocks me over with how great the arrangement and vocals are, ""O Holy Night" and "Pure Imagination/Christmastime is Here" bring me to tears. Every. Single. Time. They're like Hallelujah" in that I'm not crying because they're sad songs, but because they're so overwhelmingly perfect and beautiful they just overload my music appreciation circuits. Speaking of overloaded circuits, at some point you need to react to "Aha" performed live ay the Starlight Ballroom in Singapore. It's a fan recording, so not studio quality, but OMG it's mind-bendingly good!

OMG! You've got a LOT of catching up to do with PTX! They just received their FIFTH Grammy Award nomination for their 2022 Christmas album and Scott just won an Emmy for a sound score he helped with! And this last Christmas they released 3 bangers, as the young people call them! 😉 O Holy Night is unbelievable and Kiss From A Rose 🌹 is right there with it! And Pure Imagination/Christmas Time Is Here mashup is so dreamy & fluid! But you and your wife would be speechless with O Holy Night! I promise! ❤

Matt can't get quite that low, though his lowest notes are just barely within the range that's classed as basso profundo, but on the high end he's very near the top of a normal tenor range. I believe that Matt has the largest range of any member of Pentatonix, past or present, and it's still growing. Avi does do the lows in his solo stuff, it is just almost always in the background vocals and sounds. Some of his songs are in the lower portion of his register, some in the higher, some in the middle. I do love his low, lows (and how they blend with Pentatonix as a whole. I think Matt is a really good fit as their new bass, but he is not a fill-in for Avi, he is his own style of bass. So, PTX with Avi and with Matt are both fantastic - just different. I'm really behind getting to music right now, but I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas.

While this is a beautiful song and PTX does an awesome job on it, it is not a true Christmas song.
P.S. There is a Christmas version of this song called "Christmas Hallelujah". They took the music from Hallelujah and added Christmas lyrics to it.
