Good old DFW and its tram system. Love taking the whole loop whenever I have time between flights there. Auntie Anne's is the best quick food there in my opinion!
Wow... good twilight views on this flight. And no jet lag this time. Well, guess what: my GF has been feeling under the weather this week and when she went to the clinic this morning, she tested positive for covid. So, she's working from home now. Remember that covid hits men harder than women, so be on the lookout, and take proper precautions. Anyhow, another fine video on your part.
@@sla31 She's sleeping right now, trying to rest it out, which is what her doctor recommended. She didn't get the latest vaccine that they're telling everyone to get. I got it 2 weeks ago. Since she has covid, she'll have to wait till late December before she can get the latest covid shot. It's entirely possible that I may be infected too. I've been keeping my vitamin D levels good by eating a lot of cold water fish. I've also been taking colostrum regularly. Now that it's fall, the opportunities to get vitamin D from sunlight are rapidly fading here. Us menfolk don't handle viral infections as well as women, so men need to take covid more seriously than they've been and stop being so reckless about it. When it comes to covid, men really are the biologically weaker sex and they need to understand and accept this important reality. Anyhow, will watch today's General Hospital soon. Come on, get Lucky out of there!! Jason and Anna flew over to East Africa to try to rescue Lucky. Note how they have no trace of jet lag. I guess being a soap opera character can pay after all.
Would you ever consider doing reviews? As in the good and the bad for various airlines? Or did you want to remain neutral and stay out of the lane. As much as you travel and post I imagine you've seen it all and would have a good perspective at least to share with us. No problem at all if you wanna stay clear of that.
I prefer they stay out of reviews. There really is nothing to say about flying as most ppl sleep and there's a ton of flight reviews on YT. I'd say subtitles at most if they have special comments on sth is good enough. This is one of the few channels that does flight videos without a stupid karen (e.g. nonstop dan) behind the camera complaining about first world problems, like the bread not be warmed up and the butter being cold.
That's not something I'm likely to get involved with. Although there are some aspects of review channels in my videos, like I'll show the seat and food, I'm not really interested in becoming a review channel, or even doing a review series for that matter. My channel isn't really about whether an airline is good or bad, it's about the aviation itself and the love we all share for it. That and the beauty to be had when you combine aviation with the natural beauty of the world. If people want to watch my videos and use them to make their own judgments, that's fine, but I'm likely never going to venture into that arena. As @noob.168 said, there are tons of review channels out there already, and ultimately that's not what I'm really interested in making. Plus, as you said, I prefer to stay in airlines' good graces and I don't want to damage my chances of making more content onboard them because they don't like something I said in a review.
And one more thing. I will tell people what I think about an airline if they ask. If someone leaves a comment asking how I liked an airline, or if I liked the food, etc. I will happily answer that. I'm just going to do it in a comment, not in an actual video.
Well to be fair, we were nearly two hours behind schedule after a maintenance delay after we boarded. So there was likely planes there at TUL that aren't normally there. I'd imagine the plane out our gate was the plane that was supposed to come in after ours, but because of the delay it got there first. Sometimes you can plan all you want, but it makes no difference when a wrench is thrown.
As @BIGralph01 said it's "extended over water," but to give you a bit more info. It's kind of like a lesser version ETOPS. It means the aircraft has additional rafts and water landing related safety devices. This allows it to fly over water for longer than a regular aircraft, but not as long as one with an ETOPS certification.
