Oh my goodness Jessica, these all sound amazing! Boy it's really true... you should choose a decent wine for your sangria... it takes up so much of the body of the drink, it ought to be something of drinkable quality on its own. We also prefer to bring our sugars from good ingredients that contain sweetness, rather than just plain sugar. So glad to see your videos again... they're the best, and we missed them!
Thank you so much!! I've missed posting... LOL! Yes, Sangria is the sum of it's parts, so those parts better be good! We actually recorded this last summer, and it's warming up here again. I'm about ready to do a deep dive into the many gifts of wine soaked fruit... I think there is potential here. :P Cheers, my friends!!

I agree, there aren't a ton of well known cocktails that use it. But that's why it's so fun to experiment!! I hope you try these out :) I also use Licor 43 in my coconut margarita... I gotta say, THAT drink is damn delicious. I don't even like margaritas, but could drink those by the pitcher.
@@SavidgeKitchen yum I’ll have to give it a shot, I love margaritas. Another one I never see used is Frangelico I always have a bottle for a drink called The Insomniac but can’t say I’ve seen it come up in any other cocktail
My wife will love the dessert cocktail. Licor 43 and Mr. Black is right up her alley. She also loves Empress Gin, so thanks for the helpful info on the tea variety they use. I may have to make that infused simple syrup as a treat for her.
I'm loving your channel! I want to try all 3 of these. Have you ever tried a communard? It's equal parts Pinot Noir and Framboise (sp)! We had this at our pampered chef party with about 10 other women. We went through 6 bottles of each. We had to confiscate keys!!! It tastes so good, but oh my gosh it will sneak up on you!

I was just telling someone who also lives in AZ (The Drinking Buddy) that we should schedule a meet up for the cocktail community this Fall once it cools down. I always mixed original licor 43 with orange soda. It taste just like an orange creamsicle ice cream.

I have not tried that, but sounds like a great way to use Pinot Noir (my least favorite red 😂) Thank you for the tip!!
