Policing is not what it used to be. People now a days don't want to be policed. When you are armed to the teeth,with no respect for your fellow human beings,crooks being let out for lack of jail space,no punishments.

There are hundreds of elders homeless in Phoenix. 70 years olds who don’t do drugs are on the street because their social security can’t afford these new rent prices which are going up due to people moving here. A few hundred can effect a lot of people. I know the sweetest Phoenix PD officer. She is always telling me she is working overtime to afford rent. The housing crisis isn’t as unimportant as you think. It’s effecting Phoenix cops as well. Cops who’ve been here and protecting the city. More people here, will effect everyone.

But the department always has officer's sitting for hours at 3 ave at a parking lots hanging out and other places like 7ave and buckeye rd like 6 to 9 SUVs just hanging out burning gas for 3 hours at times i dont like my tax money to be played with thats bing used to let them gain money doing nothing when they're are kids getting beat and rhey hanging out
Maybe if they weren’t afraid of going to prison for doing their job when the department and city turn their backs in them they would be more proactive….
Who cares, most aren't actually protecting and serving... they are out ticketing people for revenue and using pretextual stops to harass people. If they focused on real crimes instead of dim license plate lights things would improve greatly.

Interesting they want to build and expand phx with housing and revamp metrocenter but cannot provide adequate policing to clean up the area already.
