For real, never died when this banger played, only demolished hordes and cleared out cities or blocks of big cities, always playing it in Lousville or West-Point
There been times where I start taking on a horde that's a bit too big, and halfway through I think "Maybe this isn't it, maybe I should go" then this song kicks in and my blood starts pumping and that thought goes away as I mow down the rest of the 400 strong horde
I remember playing with zombies sound distance 1000, basing in the fire station, then having the alarm at the police station go off. It took the zombies 15 hours to walk there but I had cleared out 3/4's of rosewood but suddenly 1.6k zeds showed up at the front door to my base and we had a all day standoff. Ironically enough overrun was playing because I literally got overrunned outta no where
@@Valcerv thats a scary thought cos when the alarm goes off you know eventually your gonna have a fight. Thats my favorite part of the game for me, i love like the last stand rush and defending my base with everything.
To be honest imo the katana is pretty shit. You can't repair it at all and by the time you make it to 60 days most characters will either have enough strength/points in weapon skills to one/two tap zombies anyway But vanity item, i must use it
@@absolutegato706 it only affects machete and katana in base game. Imo weapon is weapon, use whatever you want. I just happen to prefer axes/spears. Long blade used to be extremely good in build 40 because those farm warehouses filled with crops used to contain tools, and machete drop rates where insanely high in warehouses so you could just raid the countryside and get like 30 machetes, but now its hard to consistently get long blade weapons. The most consistent spot i found is the millitary apps in March ridge where you can walk away with 15-20 machetes with lucky. Tbh all the melee weapon skills are like farming where you can use it at base level 0 without any problems, it just gets more consistent the higher you get
To be honest I usually choose traits like weak, unfit, obese, cowardly, etc and work then off because the grind from coward to doomsayer is more satisfying than starting with 9/10 strength/fitness

1200 hours in build 41 has something to do with it. To be honest its just knowing how the zombie AI works while having 4 nimble, keen hearing, and high strength/fitness. You match/outpace zeds at 4 nimble, keen hearing allows you never to get snuck up on, high strength lets you one tap zombies even with 0 combat level, and fitness lowers endurance usage, ups attack speed, and lets you recover 60% faster from fatigue. Once you get enough hours to know how the zombies work and you get a character a few months in, the game just becomes a better sims but in a zombie apocalypse. You can download some trait/gun mods if you want but I've quit vanilla playthroughs months in out of boredom anyways. Its better to just focus on what makes your playthrough funner instead of surviving longer
@@Valcerv I am Park Ranger main. I love surviving at a forest near the Riverside because that's free unlimited water. I am using bunch of mods. Standardised Nimble XP is in my oppinion one of the best mods ever. Nimble XP will drop based on how long you have been walking in combat pose and isn't RNG. I love dinamic traits as well. With that mod I start as a weak and mundane dude, but after a month and a half, I can become some guy who is ripped zed killing machine. This game never gets boring...
@@STAIR_WAY14 Once you overcome the nerves of the situation it's not that difficult, but it's very punishing if you mess up, one mistake and you die. But the zeds are very dumb, so just focus on controlling the irl nerves.

It was honestly easier to kill downtown West point than to figure out how to loop it in audacity without it sounding bad. I really wish people didn't over analyze the games meta. The funniest part about it is the guys comment I pinned I kinda agree that the more traits mod has too make broken traits and I've banned half of them and some of the ones I had on that character(Hardy/relentless is objectively the most broken trait combo in zomboid I've seen) but people.rewlly want to grandstand and troll others in how they play a sandbox game

Hardy trait increases endurance by 25% but does it in levels so you operate as if you have no endurance moodles when you are in actuality at 40% of your endurance left including the moodles. Relentless just gives you a chance to not use as much endurance during a swing. There's a couple others like antique collector, grave robber and evasive that are broken
Multihit makes combat trivially easy, especially when you can push 3 zombies down with two arms without anything equipped. You just barely use any fatigue when you can hit multiple zombies at a time and the games already far too easy for me on base apocalypse. I don't hate multihit it just ain't for me
I am not ready for single-hit yet. I can do it tho. I have almost 100 hours in the game, so stealthy aproach should do. I don't understand why people hate some players who are using multi-hit. It's fealistic for weapons like hammer, crowbar, baseball bat, Katana, machete, etc... I know it's harder but still...
@@STAIR_WAY14 i don't hate multihit, it just ain't for me. Try running a higher fitness character or a hammer when you do turn it off since you will be more endurance in combat and the short blunts barely use any endurance
@@Valcerv Thanks for the advice. About endurance usage, well... I will admit. I am short blade fan. I have almost lvl 4 in short blade. Hinting kinves and Rambo III blades (Brita's weapon pack mod) are usually me weapons of choice. I have lvl 4 short blunt as well. When it comes to damage, idk but I think short blunt wins...
Some people may not appreciate the clearing of this video, especially since there are people who would say it's "easy" Clearly some people die clearing hordes of zombies even if there are mods or not, it still proves a challenge of awareness and right pathing and a whole lot of patiences. Like one touch from them would end you. I appreciate it.
Good job mate, don't let the sweatfest players get under your skin, i seen the pinned comment, i am prefer to play against fast shamblers + shamblers mix, cause i look at the realistic ways of things, their muscles are rotten, eyes most likely drying out, ears rotting off too, i made them a little challenge when they are all by themselves or in a small group, but its quite the opposite when they are in the hundreds, i also use extremely rare and rare settings for guns and ammo, food is rare and medicine is extremely rare, i usually find myself collecting every single little scrap of supplies i can find, i have to sneak because they are everywhere, can't even go camping in the woods because i fear they pull Vietnam on me, currently i use the Riverside scrap yard as a base, its easily defendable, all i have to do is just park a car in the gate, they won't crawl since i disabled it, only way for them to be a crawler is to A. break their legs or B. spawn like that.
Tbh the devs like to remove certain strategies like using cars to block off entrances so they make zombies crawl under cars. The latest change they did it with was making propane torches be entirely consumed when you dismantle a car wreck and I'm not a fan of the change because they keep the same amount of propane in the world but make it more limited by making it used more to dismantle wrecks which is the main way to grind the skill. Metalworking is already a niche skill since the resources are rare to use the skill and it's just making it worse Also fun fact I got 1.4k hours and have spent approximately 3 of those hours in Riverside. The other spawn towns I just like more. I'm currently basing outside of wear point on one of the gravel roads where I cut out a path to the river and put down gravels for a road, built my house, put up log walls, and made it self efficient with solar panel mods, farms, and water catchers into sinks to automatically filter water for cooking/drinking. Pretty much anywhere can be made into a good base if you love long enough to get the resources for it. I'm 21 months into that save so I have everything in abundance at this point and match ridge/rosewood have entirely been looted as well as every warehouse that isn't in Louisville so might as well base wherever at this pointb

Yesterday, I cleared half of March Ridge, for about 8 hours in game alone, and for about 2 hours with 2 of my friends after going back to our F.O.B. in the Mechanics' shop on the East Side of town, to restock on ammo. I've got over a thousand zombie kills now, I reckon a good 600+ are from clearing that town. I feel this video. Molotovs, full auto, switching to my Super Shorty, and resorting to spears to conserve ammo for the straggling one-or-two that weren't worth the bullet. So, so good. Thank you for inspiring me to confront the horde, instead of fleeing.

You must have an extremely high level of fitness. You keep fighting and running with only a little sweat. LOL I couldn't even handle 5 zombies at a time.
It was more traits. Hardy gives you like 4x the endurance. In vanilla if you run spears/short blunt/short blade weapons with a 9 fitness character you can actually fight for a unlimited amount of time(provided you don't become drowsy) since you regenerate more endurance than you use per swing. I usually play lumberjack and a 10 fit/strength lumberjack can clear like 200 zombies to get to tier 2 endurance moodles, then I swap to guns for a minute and Regen all my endurance back. I'll also just run into a building, find a chair and rest on it/sit on ground and it speeds up endurance Regen twice, with 10 fit you can literally go from no endurance to max over the course of 10 in game minutes. Moral of the story is run high fitness characters. I ended up banning Hardy/a lot of the more traits for being broken from my future runs where I don't want to be a super soldier. In my current run I just allow one more traits to be taken, and I decided upon scrounger because it's the only trait that would provide me a bonus throughout the entire playthrough, its just a small chance to either double/quadruple a item spawn. It's like lucky where if you only survive a month it won't make much of a difference but if you're like me where long term survival is an expectation and you're actively taking weak/unfit/very underweight for a free 30 points because "I can work it off over the course of 600 hours" than scrounger will make enough of a difference to be worth taking
thanks i use it a lot when playing a roblox zombie game because that zombie game does not have any music at all and now with this playing i can beat up a horde of zombies with just a baseball bat

@@Valcerv late as hell reply but this reminded me of my character who i did a test survival run with to see how bad the schizophrenic trait could be long story short, i lasted 17 days because i ran out of chlorpromazine, found myself in a bad situation in downtown riverside as the undead swarmed my car, fought a bunch of them off but found out the hard way that one of them was a hallucination, which then caused me to trip headfirst into the crowd of them and die instantly for anyone looking to rp as a schizo in zomboid, stockpile chlorpromazine or cigarettes or else you'll probably go out the same way i did
Toolkit mod, doesn't work that well in my experience but maybe it's conflicting with other mods. Noirs rifle slings is also a good mod. I see people using another mod where they have like 20 slots on the hotbar but I don't know the name of it. 20 slots is too much for me, I just want like 1 or 2 extra so I can put both a gun on my front and a axe on my back
This song represnts my game style, my frinds calls me "streets cleaner" i turn into ashes every single horde and i make the city safer, but i always die by infections, as i figth all days and i get my selft covered on infected blood all day, i get infected by that. Should i try to get a inmune or a cure for the infection mod?
In vanilla you can't die by being drenched in zombie blood so it's likely you're dying to the corpse sickness instead. When you've killed more than 20 zombies in a certain area, flies appear and your food sickness level goes up. Once it progresses to a fever you can't survive it unless you have lemon glass+remove yourself from the area. I always fight to the point of getting nauseous/sick because it will give debuffs but not outright kill you, and the second you become sick it's relatively easy to just hop in a car and drive away from the corpses. Make sure to never read books/exercise/sleep around corpses since hours pass in game in seconds and the corpse sickness goes up as normal so a lot of players have killed themselves this way(I've done it too ngl.) It might also be the zombies giving you a scratch/lacerations since if you don't change transmission in sandbox settings they have a small chance to infect you. Or you just have some mod that makes it so you can die from being drenched in blood, I know that everyone calls prone to illness free points but in soto trait overhaul and dynamic traits it's brutal and can kill you You might also be dying from getting scratched/lacerated from zeds
@@Valcerv ngl i did know You can get infected by corpses, but i don't know it also happends while im inside My house/base, thanks for the tip i'll try to get away the corpses or burn them, thanks for the tip buddy And i also thinked that migth be the problem, but since i Made My character build to figth i rarely get scratched or something, i also have the dybamic traits mod, so maybe thats can be the problem too, but i still thinkin it's bacuse i stay inside Home with tons of corpses around the house...now i'll just have to think in some strategy yo burn so many corpses at once, don't get corpse sicknes in the process and don't accidentally burn the city down while i let the fire burn the corpses while i'm looting or figthing, once again thanks for the tip man!

I was playing project zomboid today and this song played when i was in rosewood, it was night and an entire ass horde emerged and i was in a tiny hatchback. There was nothing i could do. I was trying to type to my friend that i was in mortal danger and needed help. That was when i slipped up. i accidentally didnt activate the chat box. I hopped out of the car. It was an almost fatal accident, i got back in my car but the zombie nearby bit me on my arm and neck. I had enough supplies from the fire department to bandage me but i had lost a lot of blood and health looking for a place to park so i could bandage. i eventually circled the horde around enough so i could run into the fire department and hide. My friend had left a garage door open. He left at some point i couldn't recall. I hid and healed myself up a bit, as well as managing my inventory, eating and drinking to gather my stength. I went downstairs and there were only a few down there. I went back upstairs and i accidentally clicked "Q". Then Determination played on the medium intensity. It was at this moment the king felt true fear for the first time. I waited what seemed hours for a horde to come up the stairs. I had my axe at the ready to swing as one by one 5-10 zombies came up the stairs and blood spread everywhere. Somehow i beat them, went into some resting quarters area and tried to sleep. I took my only sleeping pills but i could not sleep. It seemed to reduce the pain a little but not enough for me to rest. This was the moment i noticed my friend left. I then logged off after the shit enducing terror.

@@absolutegato706 it only affects machete and katana in base game. Imo weapon is weapon, use whatever you want. I just happen to prefer axes/spears. Long blade used to be extremely good in build 40 because those farm warehouses filled with crops used to contain tools, and machete drop rates where insanely high in warehouses so you could just raid the countryside and get like 30 machetes, but now its hard to consistently get long blade weapons. The most consistent spot i found is the millitary apps in March ridge where you can walk away with 15-20 machetes with lucky. Tbh all the melee weapon skills are like farming where you can use it at base level 0 without any problems, it just gets more consistent the higher you get

To be honest I usually choose traits like weak, unfit, obese, cowardly, etc and work then off because the grind from coward to doomsayer is more satisfying than starting with 9/10 strength/fitness

1200 hours in build 41 has something to do with it. To be honest its just knowing how the zombie AI works while having 4 nimble, keen hearing, and high strength/fitness. You match/outpace zeds at 4 nimble, keen hearing allows you never to get snuck up on, high strength lets you one tap zombies even with 0 combat level, and fitness lowers endurance usage, ups attack speed, and lets you recover 60% faster from fatigue. Once you get enough hours to know how the zombies work and you get a character a few months in, the game just becomes a better sims but in a zombie apocalypse. You can download some trait/gun mods if you want but I've quit vanilla playthroughs months in out of boredom anyways. Its better to just focus on what makes your playthrough funner instead of surviving longer
@@Valcerv I am Park Ranger main. I love surviving at a forest near the Riverside because that's free unlimited water. I am using bunch of mods. Standardised Nimble XP is in my oppinion one of the best mods ever. Nimble XP will drop based on how long you have been walking in combat pose and isn't RNG. I love dinamic traits as well. With that mod I start as a weak and mundane dude, but after a month and a half, I can become some guy who is ripped zed killing machine. This game never gets boring...
@@STAIR_WAY14 Once you overcome the nerves of the situation it's not that difficult, but it's very punishing if you mess up, one mistake and you die.
But the zeds are very dumb, so just focus on controlling the irl nerves.

I really wish people didn't over analyze the games meta. The funniest part about it is the guys comment I pinned I kinda agree that the more traits mod has too make broken traits and I've banned half of them and some of the ones I had on that character(Hardy/relentless is objectively the most broken trait combo in zomboid I've seen) but people.rewlly want to grandstand and troll others in how they play a sandbox game

Just adds more traits. Hardy trait increases endurance by 25% but does it in levels so you operate as if you have no endurance moodles when you are in actuality at 40% of your endurance left including the moodles. Relentless just gives you a chance to not use as much endurance during a swing. There's a couple others like antique collector, grave robber and evasive that are broken

Multihit makes combat trivially easy, especially when you can push 3 zombies down with two arms without anything equipped. You just barely use any fatigue when you can hit multiple zombies at a time and the games already far too easy for me on base apocalypse. I don't hate multihit it just ain't for me

I am not ready for single-hit yet. I can do it tho. I have almost 100 hours in the game, so stealthy aproach should do. I don't understand why people hate some players who are using multi-hit. It's fealistic for weapons like hammer, crowbar, baseball bat, Katana, machete, etc... I know it's harder but still...
@@STAIR_WAY14 i don't hate multihit, it just ain't for me. Try running a higher fitness character or a hammer when you do turn it off since you will be more endurance in combat and the short blunts barely use any endurance
@@Valcerv Thanks for the advice. About endurance usage, well... I will admit. I am short blade fan. I have almost lvl 4 in short blade. Hinting kinves and Rambo III blades (Brita's weapon pack mod) are usually me weapons of choice. I have lvl 4 short blunt as well. When it comes to damage, idk but I think short blunt wins...
Some people may not appreciate the clearing of this video, especially since there are people who would say it's "easy" Clearly some people die clearing hordes of zombies even if there are mods or not, it still proves a challenge of awareness and right pathing and a whole lot of patiences. Like one touch from them would end you. I appreciate it.
Good job mate, don't let the sweatfest players get under your skin, i seen the pinned comment, i am prefer to play against fast shamblers + shamblers mix, cause i look at the realistic ways of things, their muscles are rotten, eyes most likely drying out, ears rotting off too, i made them a little challenge when they are all by themselves or in a small group, but its quite the opposite when they are in the hundreds, i also use extremely rare and rare settings for guns and ammo, food is rare and medicine is extremely rare, i usually find myself collecting every single little scrap of supplies i can find, i have to sneak because they are everywhere, can't even go camping in the woods because i fear they pull Vietnam on me, currently i use the Riverside scrap yard as a base, its easily defendable, all i have to do is just park a car in the gate, they won't crawl since i disabled it, only way for them to be a crawler is to A. break their legs or B. spawn like that.
Tbh the devs like to remove certain strategies like using cars to block off entrances so they make zombies crawl under cars. The latest change they did it with was making propane torches be entirely consumed when you dismantle a car wreck and I'm not a fan of the change because they keep the same amount of propane in the world but make it more limited by making it used more to dismantle wrecks which is the main way to grind the skill. Metalworking is already a niche skill since the resources are rare to use the skill and it's just making it worse
Also fun fact I got 1.4k hours and have spent approximately 3 of those hours in Riverside. The other spawn towns I just like more. I'm currently basing outside of wear point on one of the gravel roads where I cut out a path to the river and put down gravels for a road, built my house, put up log walls, and made it self efficient with solar panel mods, farms, and water catchers into sinks to automatically filter water for cooking/drinking. Pretty much anywhere can be made into a good base if you love long enough to get the resources for it. I'm 21 months into that save so I have everything in abundance at this point and match ridge/rosewood have entirely been looted as well as every warehouse that isn't in Louisville so might as well base wherever at this pointb

I'm told this is an Egyptian dialect but I'm far from an expert, just a casual enjoyer of linguistics. Translation software likes to translate the 'Fountain of life' line as نبع الحياة which has ambiguity between 'Fountain of life' and 'Source of life' but dropping the ة for نبع الحيا not only makes it sound more accurate (Nabe al hay'aa versus Nabe al hay'aat, miss me with those silent t's) but also seems to disambiguate the reference to 'Fountain of life' more specifically. You could use either 'price' or 'cost' for ايه الثمن but I leaned towards price. More interesting is the trailing ايه or 'Ayh' after the first three 'What is the price?' repetitions. You could interpret that as just lyrical repetition but more interestingly, ايه or 'Ayh' by itself seems to translate more favorably to 'Any' but I don't know if that's a software quirk or not.

Yesterday, I cleared half of March Ridge, for about 8 hours in game alone, and for about 2 hours with 2 of my friends after going back to our F.O.B. in the Mechanics' shop on the East Side of town, to restock on ammo.
I've got over a thousand zombie kills now, I reckon a good 600+ are from clearing that town.

You must have an extremely high level of fitness. You keep fighting and running with only a little sweat. LOL I couldn't even handle 5 zombies at a time.
It was more traits. Hardy gives you like 4x the endurance. In vanilla if you run spears/short blunt/short blade weapons with a 9 fitness character you can actually fight for a unlimited amount of time(provided you don't become drowsy) since you regenerate more endurance than you use per swing. I usually play lumberjack and a 10 fit/strength lumberjack can clear like 200 zombies to get to tier 2 endurance moodles, then I swap to guns for a minute and Regen all my endurance back. I'll also just run into a building, find a chair and rest on it/sit on ground and it speeds up endurance Regen twice, with 10 fit you can literally go from no endurance to max over the course of 10 in game minutes. Moral of the story is run high fitness characters.
I ended up banning Hardy/a lot of the more traits for being broken from my future runs where I don't want to be a super soldier. In my current run I just allow one more traits to be taken, and I decided upon scrounger because it's the only trait that would provide me a bonus throughout the entire playthrough, its just a small chance to either double/quadruple a item spawn. It's like lucky where if you only survive a month it won't make much of a difference but if you're like me where long term survival is an expectation and you're actively taking weak/unfit/very underweight for a free 30 points because "I can work it off over the course of 600 hours" than scrounger will make enough of a difference to be worth taking
thanks i use it a lot when playing a roblox zombie game because that zombie game does not have any music at all and now with this playing i can beat up a horde of zombies with just a baseball bat
also makes me feel EPIC when im driving around in a forklift (one of the maps has a driveable forklift)

long story short, i lasted 17 days because i ran out of chlorpromazine, found myself in a bad situation in downtown riverside as the undead swarmed my car, fought a bunch of them off but found out the hard way that one of them was a hallucination, which then caused me to trip headfirst into the crowd of them and die instantly

Toolkit mod, doesn't work that well in my experience but maybe it's conflicting with other mods. Noirs rifle slings is also a good mod. I see people using another mod where they have like 20 slots on the hotbar but I don't know the name of it. 20 slots is too much for me, I just want like 1 or 2 extra so I can put both a gun on my front and a axe on my back

This song represnts my game style, my frinds calls me "streets cleaner" i turn into ashes every single horde and i make the city safer, but i always die by infections, as i figth all days and i get my selft covered on infected blood all day, i get infected by that.
Should i try to get a inmune or a cure for the infection mod?
In vanilla you can't die by being drenched in zombie blood so it's likely you're dying to the corpse sickness instead. When you've killed more than 20 zombies in a certain area, flies appear and your food sickness level goes up. Once it progresses to a fever you can't survive it unless you have lemon glass+remove yourself from the area. I always fight to the point of getting nauseous/sick because it will give debuffs but not outright kill you, and the second you become sick it's relatively easy to just hop in a car and drive away from the corpses. Make sure to never read books/exercise/sleep around corpses since hours pass in game in seconds and the corpse sickness goes up as normal so a lot of players have killed themselves this way(I've done it too ngl.) It might also be the zombies giving you a scratch/lacerations since if you don't change transmission in sandbox settings they have a small chance to infect you. Or you just have some mod that makes it so you can die from being drenched in blood, I know that everyone calls prone to illness free points but in soto trait overhaul and dynamic traits it's brutal and can kill you
You might also be dying from getting scratched/lacerated from zeds

And i also thinked that migth be the problem, but since i Made My character build to figth i rarely get scratched or something, i also have the dybamic traits mod, so maybe thats can be the problem too, but i still thinkin it's bacuse i stay inside Home with tons of corpses around the house...now i'll just have to think in some strategy yo burn so many corpses at once, don't get corpse sicknes in the process and don't accidentally burn the city down while i let the fire burn the corpses while i'm looting or figthing, once again thanks for the tip man!

I was playing project zomboid today and this song played when i was in rosewood, it was night and an entire ass horde emerged and i was in a tiny hatchback. There was nothing i could do. I was trying to type to my friend that i was in mortal danger and needed help. That was when i slipped up. i accidentally didnt activate the chat box. I hopped out of the car. It was an almost fatal accident, i got back in my car but the zombie nearby bit me on my arm and neck. I had enough supplies from the fire department to bandage me but i had lost a lot of blood and health looking for a place to park so i could bandage. i eventually circled the horde around enough so i could run into the fire department and hide. My friend had left a garage door open. He left at some point i couldn't recall. I hid and healed myself up a bit, as well as managing my inventory, eating and drinking to gather my stength. I went downstairs and there were only a few down there. I went back upstairs and i accidentally clicked "Q". Then Determination played on the medium intensity. It was at this moment the king felt true fear for the first time. I waited what seemed hours for a horde to come up the stairs. I had my axe at the ready to swing as one by one 5-10 zombies came up the stairs and blood spread everywhere. Somehow i beat them, went into some resting quarters area and tried to sleep. I took my only sleeping pills but i could not sleep. It seemed to reduce the pain a little but not enough for me to rest. This was the moment i noticed my friend left. I then logged off after the shit enducing terror.
