A great interview and how Maynard enjoys life in AZ. Will be traveling that direction at some point for a wine tour, some great food and a nice coffee in the morning. In addition, enjoy collecting vinyl and will visit that location as well.
Oh yay, the good old "Interject every time there is more than 2 seconds of silence" style radio-personality interview. People are tired of that shit man, read the room and let the dude talk. That's when the interesting shit comes out. Besides, Maynard is one of those guys who puts in subtle humorous innuendos when talking.. when you are just constantly thinking about what you are going to say next you will miss out on those and break the flow of the convo.
MJK was one of the main motivating forces which propelled me into the professional world of viticulture and winemaking; and yes, it is as hard, challenging, and rewarding as he claims.
It looked more of a way for the interviewer to show Maynard he knew some people he might have known, like Adam's ex girlfriend and stuff, rather than an interview where Maynard could talk about other stuff
Every fucking interview with Maynard now is someone asking the exact same questions and asking him to retell stories we already know or that are in his book.
I was pissed about the - Do you get your work ethic from your Dad? question from someone who claims to ‘know a lot about’ Maynard. It was almost an insult to his Mom and her condition. Otherwise, the interview was OK.
I disagree I find Maynard gets tired of the people who insist on praising him and this guy seems to be the only one who actually engages Manard's interest to talk
@@jamesthornton1150agree. He’s hitting on some redundant stuff (most on Maynards interviews do now) but it flowed really well and included some nuance that is usually absent in other interviews.
I have seen Tool 7 times in 5 year in Florida. They were at Rockville 2 times and Hollywood FL 2 times just this year. They played Orlando, Tampa and Miami all in 2022. Maynard practically lived here the past 5 years lol. You just have to drive around Florida to see them.
If we're being honest I think he's very biased about Blonde Redhead - they opened for Tool a couple years back in LA and it was boring AF. Same thing with the comedy - If it was Bill Hicks opening - depending how long of a segment - I'm pretty sure most fans would have loved that. Same thing with David Cross and the other tall dude - it was a good match... but Tenacious D ? I mean come on, those guys have never been funny and frankly, I smell an industry plant with Jack Black. Why else would he have been all up in our faces all through the last couple decades. Certainly not comedic talent.
Ol Maynard is getting his money worth out of that jacket. This is like his 4th or so interview in this jacket
Lmao 🤣 true
lol facts, I would do the same shit too😂
It holds his stomach in. Man needs to let up on his wine and heirloom pasta haha
You'd think that someone who works for spin magazine would know that "emotive" is an album by APC, not Puscifer

I like how he's sporting his Dolce & Gabbana one piece in all of these recent interviews. Great interview.
I'm actually sick of it, lol.
Tacky
Maybe he just recorded them all on the same day.
It's expensive of course he's going to get his money's worth😂
what the hell is even that?!

Great interview. Seems Maynard knows him outside this and was more willing to answer in more depth

I’m laughing at the, out-of-touch, interviewer trying to shit on the army, and Maynard shuts him down immediately.
Maynard never disappoints.
Puzzles, just puzzles, solving puzzles, and they are just puzzles 😅
I appreciate that he plays specific music for specific grapes. As a professional winemaker I do this as well.
PUZZLES!!
It looked more of a way for the interviewer to show Maynard he knew some people he might have known, like Adam's ex girlfriend and stuff, rather than an interview where Maynard could talk about other stuff
Maynard making playlists for his grapes is so cute lol.
Maynard for president 2028
Now there’s a thought.
LA: 🤿
No more old celeb presidents for me
That would be awesome not even joking in the slightest
Yay! Maynard is doing a lot of interviews!
Oh… he talks about the SAME things on every one…. 😆

Most mainstream band in the present already
👏👏
Every fucking interview with Maynard now is someone asking the exact same questions and asking him to retell stories we already know or that are in his book.
Interviewers always ask MJK what his process is, but they never ask what inspires him and his music :(
Dude keeps saying pooscifer 😂😂😂
I came here to complain about the same thing
Cool but he does a lot of interviews.
Puzzling guy
Respectfully, let’s ask Maynard original questions please. The stuff about Tool’s writing process has been asked a million times before.
Same questions…
I actually search for Electric Cafe and then I realised it was a joke... what a funny guy Maynard
667, one number ahead of the devil 🤘🏻
Maynard is my boyfriend but he doesn’t know it yet.
Khajiit has wares!
I was pissed about the - Do you get your work ethic from your Dad? question from someone who claims to ‘know a lot about’ Maynard. It was almost an insult to his Mom and her condition. Otherwise, the interview was OK.
Be cool for new tool then ill drool 🤤
Dude. Of all the people to ask the same old same old..... cmon
Arguably the worst Maynard interview. Dude asked questions which every listener already knows the answer. Lame.
A weak interview… he’s answered many of these questions before
I disagree
I find Maynard gets tired of the people who insist on praising him and this guy seems to be the only one who actually engages Manard's interest to talk

He is promoting the same things on each show, so obviously the same questions will come up.
Why be a negative little prick? Who cares what you think? Some people are such little crybabies, get a f'ing life.
Savethhh meeeee
I’m Gypsy no ones wants to protect me!! Maynard needs me
WTF lol
All people are asking the same questions - nothing new in the interview honestly.
There’s only 14 comments I’ll make 10,000
DAD SAVE ME FROM THE TRAPHOUS
I wonder why he hates Florida. Seen Tool twice in Florida and he's not a fan. Weird
