Just about to play this scenario (very similar scenario anyway) using GdA2 and the scenario out of the ‘Liberation of Germany’ campaign book. I think it’s really essential that the Russians try and hold the French as long as possible at the river / stream.
Nice one JP. Coincidentally I'll be playing the battle that took place the next day at Chris Greggs in a few weeks time. Lutzen should prove to be a good scrap!
Interesting game Jonathan. I’m not 100% on these rules tbh, I see they are fast play, but I think I’d rather stick to Black Powder for quicker games and GdA for more involved ones? Interesting to hear your views
Do still love GdA but havnt really got into 2nd edition. One thing about these is games take an hour or two rather than all day which has its merits but I miss the skirmish screens, charge reactions and command and control. A return to GdA when I return to proper (28mm ) Napoleonics I think 👍👍
Thanks to you JP & Charlie, good to see V&F from another perspective. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Thanks very much, we hope to put one up soon, cheers JP

@@JP-ml4zh interesting. Why don’t you like GDA 2? I haven’t played them yet myself but they seem pretty good to me
