Gelli Arts® Printing Faux Chine Colle
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 17 เม.ย. 2014
- Chine collé is a printmaking technique where lightweight paper is adhered to heavier paper as it's passed through a press with an inked plate. The result is a print on a collage. Watch this video to see how this process can be adapted for Gelli Arts® printing!

I can't wait to try this technique...you make it look so easy. I am a beginner using Gelli Printing
Great video!
I love the bug print especially. Hope to try this out.
Fabulous!
Wonderful!!!!!
Wish I had all those golden paints ....dream ,dream ...

Lee, I have been looking for the Gelli Plate and just cannot find. I miss your beautiful creations and "you." Also, I am collecting Art Donations for Hawk Mountain Sanctuary...I will be taking in Art, this coming week, from 1 to 5, Monday and Wed. A free membership to Hawk Mountain, Advertising, and Press for those that contribute! Let me know!. .
Loved the prints and the great color combinations. Where do you get that bee stencil?
I have been watching all the gelli printing videos and am loving it. I received my gelli plate and went to playing. I must be doing something wrong, my ghost print will hardly show. What could I be doing wrong. Leave it to me . Oh well , I will have to keep trying. Love your videos.
I wish there was a love button for TH-cam!!! This is an amazing technique!! Love it!!! ☺
Where is the thistle mask from? It is great. What a super, super video.
Great video, as usual. Question: I live in Arizona, so I was hesitant to use Purell to clean. Alcohol too drying, so I use Golden Acrylic Flow Release, instead. Is that OK?
Wow❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Will this work with other paint consistencies or does it require “open” for the extended drying time ?
Wonderful!!!! Thanks 🙏. Could you tell me where do you buy your stencils? Thanks for that 😇
Great technique! I'm looking forward to trying this. Can you use collaged card stock?
Yes Lynn - I often print on card stock. We've seen beautiful examples of printing on black card stock with fabulous results. As long as the paper/card stock isn't glossy it's good for Gelli printing!
This is fabulous. Can't wait to try it. I know I'm going to love this Gelli Plate. I've had monoprinting class at Cullowee Art and that was on huge presses. Now to really have fun here in my studio with Gelli. Gel'in with Gelli.
I love all of your demos, I would to get some of the plastic stencils, designs and stencil plates, please help as I have looked everywhere to find some like you have.
Here is some info on the products used in the demo.... "Stencils and Masks ( The Crafter's Workshop, Stencil Girl, Green Pepper Press, Tim Holtz). The 'bee' mask was cut from Graphix Edge Stencil Film on a Silhouette Cameo - from a clip art design)" Hope that helps!
where do I buy punchily roll?
awesome! You used all Golden artists grade paints, can regular craft ot acrylic paint be used?
Yes Susi! I usually use regular acrylic craft paints for gelli printing. But Golden paints are also fun to print with and using the Golden Open paints give you more time to 'create' since the paint dries more slowly. I enjoy both!
Lovin the technique but loving the bumble bee stencil even more! Where can I get one?

Gelli Arts Admin Thank you!!!
hi just wondering what you do with all that deli paper prints??
Many people use the thinner, more delicate deli papers for collage, mixed media artwork and incorporating into journal pages etc. Happy printing!
Gelli Arts Admin Thank you and really enjoyed the video
@@gelliartsadmin7657 Do you print on the waxy side or the dull side of the deli paper?
but the transparent base is a stone or glass?
Neither. It's like gelatine (which is why it's called "Gelli Plate" :) ) and seems to be made of some sort of polymer or silicone. It's very pliable, with a lot of give.
TopazDragon tnks topaz :)
