I've seen/heard a lot of bands and musicians that I don't understand how they're not famous and Lemmo is on top of that list.
Famous?
I think people underestimate TH-cam today, it's literally becoming the voice of a new generation. Lemmo is becoming more famous than you think
Is Tim Pierce famous? Is Pete Thorn famous? Not outside the guitar community, and they are better players than Lemmo. There are thousands of great players that are not famous. Talent doesn’t equal fame.

First guitar I ever strummed was a 61 gibson hummingbird. It belonged to my great grandfather who passed away last week at the age of 92. A few months ago he picked it up after 20 years and by muscle memory could still play it.

@@Shred_The_Weapon I wish it would've as well. My grandmother and her dad (my great grandfather) had gotten into a wreck in 1960 and destroyed his previous guitar. The insurance paid for what was needed to replace the vehicle and my grandmother had a little left over so she bought him a a brandnew 61 hummingbird for what she recalls costed $300 with the case. I figured it would go back to her but, she said shes not sure who got it. Im hoping his youngest grandaughter got it cause she actually plays guitar, but i have a feeling it ended up in my great aunts hands and she's the type to keep it just so noone else could enjoy it.

I luv the dreadknots and the hummingbird is the classic example , such a great tone and great resonance , it really does sing , and those were both such great songs , Lemmo is a fantastically creative guitarist , how he gets those individual notes to ring out amongst those chords , and maintaining one rythym while playing a second at the same time , amazing , always a pleasure Michael , thanks guys

At 02:30 and a bit after; nice close-ups!I really like how the reflections show that the wood has shrunk between every tree ring the top intersects. That top would have been mirror-smooth when sold. I wonder if the Market thinks that is a plus or a minus. To me, it is like grey hair, a sign of the quality that comes with age!

My uncle has a 1960 Hummingbird
which is actually the first year they were made. Its in good shape for a 60 year old guitar. He told me he paid around $250 for it and its worth at least $7000.
