So I just tested synthoceps and uh they increase damage by 165%. Star eaters are only 70% which makes synthoceps better if you aren't running wormgods.
That's the surrounded part of biotic enhancements which has been known to buff glacial quake, while surrounded. The increased super from the classic version of synthos is only 50% buff. If you're always surrounded you can use the spirit version on the exotic class item. Most people are using glacial quake for GMs with syntho and helm of inmost exotic class item and yes the super destroys everything and gives you back your whole dark meter, couple consecrations and your light is full back to transcendence, back to super, back to transcendence on and on. Find it hard to take that build off for GMs, but I'm definitely going to try yours for some dungeon boss bakes.

It was only spammable like this in mayhem, and you couldn't use it for about 3 seconds if you got hit by overload. At least this got changed, but it's laughable how howl of the storm doesn't work in super anymore.

It was buggy and clunky at best trying to manage my cryo slide, tbh I didn't even feel in control of when i wanted to. It's too bad because i only want to play behemoth it's the only subclass i find enjoyment in playing. Guess we count days until they fix it. (Edit:) Even when i would reset my sprint instance it would take my cd without giving me the extended slide.

That would be almost impossible to time and execute in a real scenario. Wormgods require 5 stacks for max dmg which means you would need to have 25 easy to melee adds between the whole team.
it's working as intended and not broken. it requires more set up and upkeep than synthos, so that is the tradeoff. I hope they don't change it, it's a fun exotic to use in a wide variety of content.

this is awesome. And this is also the reason that Hunters are often the "better" melee class. Because aside from a very specific Riven cheese with Liar's Handshake years ago... Hunters never have this kind of absurd damage stacking going on with their melees. And this exotic specifically is a frequent offender in this area. But this looks amazing and I imagine it will be very good even without the season's artifact mods.
On non-boss enemies you'll be able to get freeze damage for champions. It absolutely deletes them in GMs. You can stun overloads instantly, keep barriers from shielding and have the heavy to stun the unstops. The melee change sucked for the actual melee but the super got a lot going for it.
Yeah, its a good super for damage, until you come across the 70% of endgame bosses that are either too far away or flying. Also the teammates crying about the boss staggering repeatedly when everyones using rockets anyway.

Synthos is a 165% buff to melee, and if my brain is correct, I think synthos is in the same column as stareaters for the class exotics.(edit, checked and yeah synthos and stareaters role in the same column)
This would be great if the melee didnt miss constantly. Its easier to just be at the optimal glacial quake distance with standard synthos. I might be missing something. Is there a trick to getting the melee to spam?
You want to jump up a bit higher with the boss like to their head then tap the melee as best you can. Try jumping and getting 3 to 4 hits the jump again to face level with the boss
Not broken when you have to apply 5 buffs, adds, and timing. It would be broken if you didn’t need 7 things to go right. And it only probably works consistently on this boss.

Bungie's lazy Titan design simply reuses powered melees in almost every super (stand, stasis, arc) so theres no reason why Wormgods shouldnt work in buffing melee damage from a super, its still the same melee (which is still triggering how lazy it is, imagine if a hunter instead of getting golden gun they just spam 6 golden throwing knives, or multiple smokes)
That's not broken. A titan can get twilight back every 30 seconds with doomfang and a warlock can do comparable damage with star eaters and song of flame. Plus you don't have to be in stomp range.
Slightly more yes. In a solo instance you can't have a teammate give banner which lowers the amount shown in video. But, light attack benefits from artifact mods while heavy attack doesn't which makes this a decent bit better than heavy attack slam. Without artifact mods heavy attack spam is slightly better.

Main problem would probably be tracking/hit registration which seemed awful against riven. Randomly tracking to her upper neck, punches not registering, tracking to random ads, etc.
regular glacial quake heavy attack spam is useable on just one boss, so having this method be viable on multiple bosses is respectable also, he literally showed master lost sector gameplay, so the use case for this interaction goes beyond just boss damage

With coordination: Last Wish (All 4), For up to 3-5 hits if sanctified doesn't ascend immediately in Garden, Deep Stone Crypt: technically 1 but 0 is realistic, VoG (both), Vow (caretaker if 0 adclear or speed/solo strat). King's Fall (2 of 5 realistically, technically all 5), RoN (both), Crota (both), SE (1 of 2) And that's just raids lol. Every Dungeon Boss can (with some effort) have this strat used on then.

Go to the tower in the traveler and there should be several missions. One of them will give you that super
