I was at this amazing party!! 35 seconds in I was the one he spoke to saying "You've been going all night!!" At the time I was 20yrs old a sober raver following the Djs and the music!! It was my life and dancing was the expression👉👉👉 I love the footage and it being 23yrs later blows my mind B3 cande was epic and JuJu Beats was legendary and such a beautiful time!
oh WOW THATS YOU? Been watching clips of this jujubeats for years, whenever I'm on a good one. Yeah you guys stand out. Seem to be having a good time and getting a 2nd wind. The track that's playing is dope. I miss these days. I probably met you down by the speakers at many parties back then. Everyone was so friendly and positive in this scene. No fights, no drama, no theft. It's actually incredible when u think about it. Thousands of crazy kids getting along on the same page, hugging, and just appreciating being alive on this strange planet. The authorities couldn't understand it, and they just had to shut us down with the 2am curfews in 2001 lol
i'm really envious of everyone that got to experience this. nothing like this will ever happen again in the angeles forest for a variety of reasons. what a special moment on earth caught on film. thanks for sharing this. if you told me people had this size of parties at this location in 1999 i wouldn't believe you. it's amazing to see. I don't remember. And yes, the massives here in southern California circa 2000 would have about 35,000 people. With no fights, sxual assaults, thievery, or other drama. It was one gigantic tribe calling a truce for the night. And the morning. Even gangbangers would behave themselves. You could go hit a joint with a gang member and talk about the lakers. These raves were the safest place in the world. Or maybe A track athlete from UCLA preparing for the Olympics would give you the shirt off his back if you were cold. Then you might see a group of drag queens with crazy makeup and 10 inch High heel boots doin their thing near the stage. It was all these different scenes together. (I was a preppy) They had the same thing on special occasions in ancient times at places like Stonehenge thousands of years ago. And all over the world. People from all over the region would come together at special sites like Stonehenge. One such site was excavated in turkey in 1995. and it's 12,000 years old. Called Gobekli Tepe Good times

Yea This is last call. I don't normally do trance, but this track is awesome. The booming tribal drums really put it over the top. We been doin this for 100 thousand years! It began with drums. Strap some cowhide on a wooden bucket, and bang the drum inside a cave for acoustics. All these exhausted kids in this video getting a second wind from this track @5:10. ALL humans used to do this. Africa India Asia England Stonehenge polynesia...
I forgot to mention that the bongo drum goin off at @5:10 is an actual person in the crowd banging a drum. Dude is in perfect sync with the DJ. Good for him lol. At 9am. The dance scene coming full circle to its roots

I live in DC area and I do still go out for the MUSIC, but theres nothing with this type of vibe out here on a large scale, theres smaller trance style club nights that come close to the feeling, and theres Festy style clubs and then theres the underground parties which from what Ive experienced so far are Mostly Dubstep and other Trap/ DnB/Dub or EDM hard electro genres with some Psy and Trance or Funky/Deep House and Techno mixed around but Nothing Ive experienced on the east Coast DC area from 06-now has this type of love or old school Rave Vibe. Ive seen glimpses here and there but all in all I dont think it'll ever be the same with that One Love,One Tribe One Vibe feel. With the commercialization,Bass-Tard-i-zation of the sound as well as the dilution edm has brought to many styles by genre blending and the hip-hop influence gives it a totally different vibe.
