A very detailed comparison. Enjoyed. The Guerilla seems to be very well engineered. Have to try it. Thanks for sharing it. Cheers.

Took the Guerilla for a test ride and found that the eco mode is the one that did it for me. Performance mode was very edgy. I like my easy riding. Currently on a hunter but thinking to upgrade to intie or bear….

Both interceptor and bear sit at 70mph at 5k revs,
My interceptor sits at 70mph at 4K revs due to fitting a 16T front sprocket,
The bear picks up speed slightly faster than the interceptor but the interceptor has slightly higher top speed,
Both great bikes, love all the RE models

The Bear looks good with better suspension than the interceptor. A thing to bear (!) in mind though is that interceptors are up at way under 5k new at some places, almost 2 grand cheaper.

Reckon they’ll all be getting to that price soon.

Bear: Front tyre 19 Inch and wider at 140, the Rear 17 Inch. Interceptor: Front 18 Inch and the rear 18 Inch at 130. This is going to make a big difference to the geometry of the bike. The Bear exhaust is beautiful for stock. Great back to back test ✌ Cheers.

A nice concise vlog. I'd seen your first video and was interested in what you thought of the different machines. I've been down to Moonraker and had a look but was waiting for your ride out to see what you thought. Excellent test ride with a completely honest commentary. Well done 🤓 🏍️

I decided not to buy the Guerrilla because of the gearing...should have been 5 speed...plus couldnt get used to the dash...awfull thing

A very good comparison video. Enjoyed it too. Rode the Interceptor and other REs and they are great bikes for the money in my opinion. Can check my content when you can. Cheers.

If I was in the market for a new bike now, I think I'd struggle between the Interceptor and the Bear. The Bear, especially in the 249 colours looks stunning.
I don't think I like it enough to swap my Interceptor (that I've had for 3.5 years from new) for one though. I love my Inty, I have the premium touring seat on mine and it's soooo much more comforable than the stock seat. With Scorpion exhausts and the air intake modified, it pulls really well for an A2 bike.
I even took it on a four day trip to France last year with friends on much bigger bikes (R1200 GS and a Harley Dyna Wide Glide) and it handled it very well.

Nice review, I liked the Shotgun best out of the RE stable, but now I'll have to try the Bear!

I'm getting my Interceptor on Saturday, so it's a bit disappointing to see that it's last out of three. A couple of my mates have bought Guerillas recently- not seen them yet- and they sound very tempting, but I have high hopes that I'll enjoy the Interceptor. We'll see what comes next, later!

I had the Guerrilla on loan for a month..loved it except thw gearing wasnt right for me...either reving high in a low gear then take it up one and got the judders !...so I pick my new interceptor up tomorrow!..Bear is above my budget

What we need to remember is that all of these bikes cost less to be on the road than a significant number of overpriced second hand ones.
As for anyone contemplating a classic bike instead, the argument for the REs becomes even more compelling.

The price difference is not that much anymore …the bear was 7100 and a new t100 on sale was 8899 and triumph is definitely a more premium bike and better one

I’ve written the interceptor the shotgun the Himalayan the guerilla, On the side, the BSA single recently…. And the bear last Saturday….. I loved all of them except the BSA, which came across disappointing and somewhat unrefined to me….
I was really surprised with the little 450 the adventure bike being great fun and the roadster even more fun but the letter was a bit too small physically for me as I’ve got long legs…. But it was sweet as a nut to ride….. so referring to the 650s the shotgun was originally my favourite. I really love that bike and thought I would lay my money down for one of them….. but a number of personal life things got in the way and it’s brought me to now and the bear has since been released and it’s blown everything away… I was the first on the demo with only 15 miles on the clock and they gave me plenty of time to test it and I’m smitten, I was even shocked how much I liked the 249 my favourite…. i’m now trying to balance the idea that I am going to spend 2K above budget on this lovely scrambler….. my only niggle was the foot controls need resetting…. I really felt at one with that bike….. thank you for your great review

Sadly, my choice between the three is hampered somewhat! One of the best things, at least to me, about the looks of the bike is the exhaust! The Guerrilla and the Bear fail miserably on that count! A bike needs chrome battleship gun barrels for exhausts.

    • @johncranwell3783
      @johncranwell3783 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

I thought that until I rode the bear last week… the ride itself so outweighs a bit of chrome for me…. I found the whole thing a wonderful experience which I wasn’t expecting. I only went for a test ride because the bike was taller and more accommodating for my 34 inch inside legs which it did with aplomb along with all the other attributes that make this a very special bike

Just bought a gs, giving it a few months to see if its for me, my heart lusts after a bear 650, sat on it in dealers and only thing putting me off was lean to bars which would cripple me, but still wanna test it, can always fit risers with a sweep back and or higher bars.

RE . . . take the clocks & the road rubber off the Interceptor and put them on the Bear (50/50 indian rubber is not ideal for UK roads) then spray the tanks Meteor colours . . Those goofy sat navs trippers are not needed everyone has an iphone & a quadlock . . .
