Ride your ride mate - was on 2 wheels for over 40 years - moved on to 3 and at 68 I reckon it will have added 10 years onto my riding journey- love the 3 and no need to ever pick it up 👍

Never too old. As well as crash bars, they can be fitted with drop-down stabilizers and a reverse gear kit. And if it really comes to it, there is the MotoWinch portable hoist. Seriously considering another Harley for 2024, and not getting any younger, so have to think about these things 😂😂

Well I traded in my 2017 Street Glide for a 2022 Heritage Classic because it is so much easier to get it in and out of the garage. I've owned 2 Street Glides now and have loved them but they have always been a little heavy for me. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs with short legs. The Heritage is perfect for me. I fail in love with it on test ride and did the deal. I'm 70 hears old now and am planning or riding up in to my 80's. Oh I just bought a new ZX4RR and I love it.

If you lose your balance or leg strength, you can get a tri-glide. If you get a bad back, lose feeling in your extremities, lose vision, have a bad heart, then may have to give up motorcycling.

I can help with directions though. The place you can't pronounce is Ilfracombe, the first place you didn't know was the Home of Gorilla Pizza, Kilkhampton, you got lost in the Pottington Business Park in Barnstaple and the second place you didn't know was Braunton, home of EpicAdam Motovlogs

@1guyaharleyandadrone657 I think the one thing in their favour is they are pretty much infinity rebuildable , and not overly complicated compared to a lot of modern bikes. I'm not a mechanic but am confident with a spanner, and did my own stage two upgrade, camshaft oil pump etc.

@TheLeevtr The best I've done is attached bits back on when they fall off. Not good with a spanner but I have a trusted man who is. I really don't want to be broken down in the middle of nowhere and that's what would happen if I took to doing the work 😅

My mate stopped riding at 84 because he felt he wouldn't be able to pick it up if it fell on him. I traded down to a Rebel 500 this year from a much heavier bike, due to health problems. In answer to your question, personally, I'll ride my bike for as long as I'm fit enough to not be dangerous to anyone including myself. I spoke to a guy recently who got off a big new KTM, don't know what model. After talking for a while he told me he was 78 years old and had never been on a bike till his children got him lessons and a CBT test for his 70th Birthday. He's now got a full licence and had several bikes before the new KTM. Age is just a number.
