Golden tip; don't pry the battery connector with a screwdriver, you shortcut the battery and the connected print of the meter and there is a serious risk of destroying your meter. Use a plastic wedge !
good tip, I used a slim screwdriver because I am aware of this possibility which is not making the battery very happy, maybe I will buy some plastic levers in the future just for this purpose...
Nice teardown! Thanks! I have found that the Fluke 175 does indeed have a connection / preparation for backlighting! you can even activate it by pressing it with the rubber button (at least works for me)
@@aicisha Yes, fluke 77 IV. There is a thin white resistor damage. It suppose to be a 1 MOhm special resistor and I don't know it's name and where to buy it.
