- Repair of Fluke 175 damaged by some bad practices.
In addition to the repair carried out on video above I had to replace the FLUKE SL10327 chip because of the erratic behaviour while measuring Amps. Ship was bought from alibaba for approx $2.
Thanks mate you saved me a lot of debug time. I had mine for 15years and it developed the resistance issue. Resoldering the 5x 200k resistors did the trick. 👍

Those fuses are very expensive!
Where can you buy the cheapest?
Having in mind that those fuses are tasked with guarding your life sheds a different light on their pricing. I always buy them from respectable seller. Those are purchased trough Farnell UK.
@@TomislavDarlic Yes you are right, they should protect us when we do wrong.
But we also see what can happen when someone tries to hide their mistakes, it can end badly if someone else uses that meter and makes a similar mistake!
But I still think they are surprisingly expensive ...

Which parts? This question is so general I simply cannot answer it. I got SL10327 on alibaba...
how can you calibrate this type of fluke?
I didn't even look at that. After I put it together it was showing perfectly good values for what I'm using it for. As far as I remember there are no pots for calibration. I don't remember seeing eeprom also but I might be wrong. I don't have access to it right now to check that

where can i buy parts for fluke 112
Majority of parts are off the shelf. You can pretty much read the numbers or test/guess. Fluke branded chip can be bought from shady third party resellers. I've installed some into Fluke meters and they seem to be working fine. I wouldn't trust it for serious testing though...
@@TomislavDarlic pls suggest what is the value of component in series to shunt on the pcb, it looks like, inductor or capacitor type component.
