I don’t think Floyd gone get Terrance even though he’s top tier. He’s just as smart if not slicker. He likes to jab at the same time and Terrance legs are hella strong. They said Errol gave Floyd that work imagine what bud can do.
Nope, what Bud would do. That's why Floyd I'd helping train Spence for the rematch. Errol was beating Floyd up in sparring and here comes Bud whoopin Spence ass onesidedly. That doesn't sit well with Floyd, at all. He's using Spence as a litmus test to decide whether he will even step into the ring with Crawford. I like Floyd but don't hate me when I say that Crawford would beat him. Everybody's gassed up on Floyd but Crawford is that Mayweather killer. And the reason I say this is because Bud doesn't enter the ring with the mindset of, " I don't know if I can beat this guy", he goes in with the "To beat me, this guy is gonna have to stop me". Bud has longer arms, bigger hands plus a two inch reach advantage over Floyd, he stronger than Floyd, plus he's quick too. Floyd's getting touched, bet that!. Bud switches seamlessly and with that factor, he negate that Philly shell defense and with the power Bud has from both sides, I guarantee you that Floyd's ass hits that canvas.
Knowing how to throw hands ain’t gonna do shit against someone who knows how to catch hands. 😂 You can throw all the hands you want if it ain’t gonna land shit 😂
I think the light weight Floyd may have been more dangerous but at 147 after hand injuries his skill level became masterful Floyd may have a better chin! Although he did get dropped I mean his gloves touched against Zab. We’ve seem Bud get hurt in a fight! Bub over all carried the power up to 147. Now Floyd weighted out Pack Man who was really dangerous but I thing Floyd proved he was using! But he was still every dangerous and it turned out to be a very defensive win! Which isn’t fan friendly and that’s where the difference probably ends up being between Floyd and Bud! Floyd mastered Defense. Bud would have more power at 47 and more offensive tactics! Like Pac So Floyd would be more defensive against maybe the best switch hitter we’ve seen!

I totally agree. Although, I give Floyd a better chance at 147, because Floyd can turn it on, if he thinks he has to. We saw the Mosley fight and Mosley trainer said it best about Floyd. Once Mosley hit Floyd, he will wake Floyd up and we will see a different Floyd. Bud is very skillful, but I give the knowledge advantage, to Floyd.
Floyd was a genius for doing a media sparring instead of a workout. Absolutely helped in hyping his fight with Manny. I remember watching the full TH-cam clip whilst commuting to work back in 2015. If I remember correctly, Roger Mayweather was also having health problems at this time, so most likely had to do with that too with Floyd doing a media sparring instead.
Floyd's sparring isn't close to his in the ring, under the lights fighting. Floyd brawls and plays alot in sparring, under the lights, he's not the same
Clinch: bud > may (wrestling background) Brawl: bud > may (dawg instinc) Boxing: bud < may (overall boxing "pro & am" experience & quickness/reflexes?) Defense: bud < may (best) Power: bud > may (both hands) Switch boxing: bud > may (force opp to readjust) Stamina: bud = may Boxing i.q.: bud = may My opinion: Bud, Tko/ko (very defensively sound may will invest too much into defense but power in bud's both hands will start to play a role in body shots to slow may down eventually & prevent may with enough legs to maneuver away for 12 rds. and power to keep bud off of him) everyone went for may's head & miss, bud too smart. Everyone knows to slow/breakdown down a defensive boxer you gotta chop him down like a tree but you gotta brawl regardless of taking hits keep coming forward.

Floyd beats him at any class, he's got a granite chin, never gets tired and some of the fastest reflexes in boxing history. No disrespect to Crawford bc I think if this question is posed about Floyd vs just about anyone around 135-147 my opinion would be the same.
I think bud cracks the Philly shell defense with jabs to the body and people forget Bud is way stronger then people think with great balance ...gonna be hard for to dominate a younger guy whose just as fast
Bud is trash. He always fights fighters over the hill or injured in the ring. He won't fight boots bcuz he knows that young boy would destroy him. Floyd at Crawfords age took all all comers
Floyd would’ve completely decimated Bud… for starters Bud has no chin and for those who think Floyd’s offense was non existent must be new to the sport and clearly hasn’t seen Pretty boy Floyd… Bud wouldn’t have lasted in that era
If they both fought at 34yrs of age Bud wins. If they fought at 24yrs of age Pretty Boy wins. Bud is a superior athlete to Floyd though. Bud also has stopped his last 11 opponents and doesn't have hand problems.

Floyd wasnt trying to hit hard. Bud is not more energy efficient he just not as good. He just uses back and forth and not a lot of angles or rolling. Bud has very little defensive moves and fights basically mid range in and out. He does not even have close to the versatility besides the switch hitting. Floyds power was just as good as terrence buf when he moved up to 147 he stopped trying to throw lots of combos and finish people. Also you cherry picked buds sparring sessions and showed a guy much lighter than bud but didnt show his session with adames because you already know everybody would have said floyd. Look at floyds fights. Terrence aint ever pulling off the stuff floyd does. Terrence has troubles with gamboa, lundy, mean machine, dulorme, porter, etc. Floyd foughf way better people. Terrence would probably nof beat a prime cotto, no way in he he beats a prime pac, prime judah, kostya, shane moseley, prime oscar, prime vernon forrest. This era is one of the worst welterweight eras ever.
Thats like saying Willie Pep is better than Sugar Ray Robinson simply because of defense. All Legendary fighters that stopped other legendary fighters (Robinson, Ali, Hagler, Leonard) step into the fray and got hit.
@joefreeman3772 no its not. Floyd was way better offensively then crawford. Better combo puncher, better shot selection, could catch and shoot, would do body jabs and start making a person go low and come back in and go with cross to the face when they covered the body and then left check hook when they started covering the front of the face, had better timing in between punhes, and was way better inside fighters with offense. I can tell you dont box because anyone who boxes will not think crawford is better skill wise and anybody who boxes doesnt think floyd was all offense. He koed a undefeated hatton who was better than anybody terrence fought same with sharmba, diego corrales, and gatti. The level of comp floyd fought was si much higher. Terrence fought a benevadize that literally could not walk right, a khan who been koed abouf 4 times prior, a washed up brook who got decimated and face bone broken twice, a porter who was on his last fight and fight he was basically losing, a gamboa who was jumping up weight class for the first time ever, and a spence who looks like was having all sorts of health issues, and david advensyan who is a nobody. Crawford fans dont box and think they know boxing because they heard of willie pep.
Terrence Crawford has the power advantage and short shots ya can't see coming ,he's got all the skills Floyd got and more. He's gonna go down as one of, if not the greatest of all time.
They both masters of the game, both all round complete fighters, only advantage Bud has is his one punch K.O power, and in a fight of this magnitude power maters.
I think that it would be a more competitive match than people think. Crawford has a very high ring IQ that would like make it so that Floyd would not gain as much ground as he usually gets from the Philly Shell. But Floyd has great speed and other devices that he can use. Crawford is also a devastating puncher. Still, it is a tall order to beat Mayweather. For a prime Crawford, it's not entirely impossible.
Hmm. The only reason I would question if Floyd would win is the fact that he probably can’t beat the Crawford we seen fight Spence.. defensively responsible Crawford + his power and switch fighting would give Floyd more trouble than it’s worth.. would love to see them spar each other
Every world champion floyd ever beat would lose to a prime Crawford. Will Crawford be his toughest fight yes.
