Don Moore made a great impression no doubt he is undefeated. But he was sparring the Best Ever and I clearly saw young Don's limits as Floyd still looked ready to run a marathon. This guy floyd was something else in the ring. I’m talking only in the ring he was the best to elevate the game in a much fun way. Introducing defense, countering off the ropes, his footwork, head movement, and his reflexes you name it he had it all mastered. It was fun watching him break down his opponents and adjusting during the fight. This guy in my opinion was the best to ever do it, no disrespect to all the other legends.

Don actually did pretty good in this session, he was never in any real trouble and he landed some flush shots on one of the best to ever do it. This was good.
Floyd's fitness is superb. A six minute round with 10 seconds rest inbetween. Who else does that? I've seriously not heard of any other great Champions that do.
You have to spar constantly, it's basically repetitiveness that will help you. The more you do something the more you start getting used to it. Yes it does takes skills and a good boxing IQ, but overall it also takes hard work & dedication.

Floyd is world class at defence and offence with years of experience now he is in his 40’s but it’s his work ethic and fitness that sets him apart. When his opponent wants a rest he senses it and straight away steps it up and takes them into deep water. Then when he wants a rest his opponent (in contrast to Floyd) is thankful for the rest and takes a breath. For me that’s what sets him apart from every other fighter in his weight category. As they say No pressure no diamond ! Hard work is......you know the rest.
One thing about Floyd is that he's always present within every moment. He's always watching and paying attention each and every detail. See that Andre Berto said about their fight. Floyd seldom wastes any movement or detail.

Introducing defense, countering off the ropes, his footwork, head movement, and his reflexes you name it he had it all mastered. It was fun watching him break down his opponents and adjusting during the fight. This guy in my opinion was the best to ever do it, no disrespect to all the other legends.

Floyd's fitness is superb. A six minute round with 10 seconds rest inbetween. Who else does that? I've seriously not heard of any other great Champions that do.
I could never relax sparring. Tht how u get tired fast not relaxing. Floyd could take a nap in the ring
You have to spar constantly, it's basically repetitiveness that will help you. The more you do something the more you start getting used to it. Yes it does takes skills and a good boxing IQ, but overall it also takes hard work & dedication.

i remember when i first starting training mauy thai and we had our first sparring session, i did 2 3 minute rounds and i felt like id just done a marathon lol these guys just dont seem to feel any fatigue
Floyd is world class at defence and offence with years of experience now he is in his 40’s but it’s his work ethic and fitness that sets him apart. When his opponent wants a rest he senses it and straight away steps it up and takes them into deep water. Then when he wants a rest his opponent (in contrast to Floyd) is thankful for the rest and takes a breath. For me that’s what sets him apart from every other fighter in his weight category. As they say No pressure no diamond !
