Thanks for a great video! I have been interested in Ink and Volt for a while and you’re review helped me a lot! I also just received my PaperMind order up here in Alaska and I am loving the Cosmo Air Light paper! Thanks so much!
It works well with the flex nib fountain pens I have. It does not have a coating so it is no as susceptible to scratching as something like Tomoe River.
Thank you for the comment! I am not impartial since I make my own notebooks. I like The Paper Mind Mitsubishi Bank Paper Notebook and the Passepied Cream Hardcover notebook: thepapermind.com/collections/the-paper-mind-collection
I think the color name you’re looking for is champagne gold. Generally, I love that color in pens. I have a Zebra Sarasa Grand in that color and it’s one of my favorite pens. By the way, do you have any bound, lay-flat journals using the Cosmo Air Light paper? I am loving the wire-bound one I bought from you a while back. That paper is amazing! It could sure use a pencil board, though.
Yes, I suppose you are right, that it is more of a Champagne color. Glad to hear you are enjoying the twin-ring CAL notebook. I do have a lay flat hardcover CAL notebook: thepapermind.com/products/cosmo-air-light-hardcover-notebook-for-fountain-pens
Maybe they wanted to have a cover that was hard enough to use alone, but not so thick one could not use a cover of some kind? Odd size for that. Or they wanted it to be flexible enough to lay as flat as possible? IDK, but nice-looking notebook!
I am constantly impressed with the sheer variety of notebooks you review. Thank you.
I love notebooks.

I am glad I could help and happy to hear you are loving Cosmo Air Light. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing another amazing video, Blake!
Have an amazing weekend!
Love from Brazil!
Thanks Eduardo!
Great video, Blake. The notebook is nice and sounds like you were impressed overall. I was distracted by your cool ring! Love that! Where is it from?
Hi Shawn, it's a ring from Chrome Hearts.
What an interesting notebook. I bet the cover helps when you spill liquids on the book.
Now that would be a test!
Thanks David. I should have tried spilling water on it.
Blake, do you do a writing sample with a flex nib fountain pen? Seeing if the pressure of pushing down causes bleed through?

I think it is too flexible to use writing on your knee. I would think if they did a smaller A5 size it might have more benefit.
