I can’t think of another TH-camr that reviews so many high end and unique notebooks. Love it so much. Thanks Blake.
👊😉
You are welcome! I am glad to hear you are enjoying the reviews.
What an interesting notebook. My current notebook is held together with strapping tape so I can see the attraction! Thanks.
You are welcome David!
I bought the Soho in Ludlow last year. It is a very amazing journal to write in. Very well made. I will buy this one next and use it for this year's journaling. Have you reviewed any journals from Hieronoymous? They too look very well made. I wonder how their products compare to Smythson, and Mount Street Printers. Thanks for the review.
I will have to try the Soho. Yes, I did review a Hieronoymous journal. You can find that review here: th-cam.com/video/CYpVvDDunGs/w-d-xo.html
I need to try one of their larger leather notebooks but overall they are well-made but I didn't love the tightness of the binding and the heavier paper. For my Smythson offers the best experience, except for the blue color to their paper.
GLP creations The Author 68gsm tomoe river hands down is my favorite paper I dont know what they do to their paper but it is amazingly it doesn't bleed or feather and it shows off all its properties which is nice and the come with lined dotted plain or grid and they are numbered pages have an index and a pocket and a ribbon and their only like 45 for the large size and thats a4 which is huge
Thank you for the recommendation. Ive added them to my list of notebooks to try.
Your video cuts out at around 5:31 not sure if you were aware, great review though!
Thank you for letting me know! I was not aware. My fault for reviewing the video in the editor and not in the final video file like I normally do.
Dear Sir, that book is a rip off. You can get much better books for way less. Thank you for sharing this. Have you tried notebooks made with paper from Vietnam? They are usually very cheap but excellent for fountain pens, with sheening and shading inks!
I’ve bought a bunch of “Composition “ notebooks from Vietnam at my local drug store. They are fantastic with fountain pens and only cost $2.00 a piece.
I have tried notebooks that were made in Vietnam but I don't recall any of them being great, but I am sure I haven't tried the right ones. Do you have a brand that you like? I am always interested in trying new notebooks.
please forgive the delay, i am researching other notebooks from veitnam as well @@BlakesBroadcast
