My man!!!! I’ve had strut spacers and they’re rubber so I’ve been looking for a steel spacers instead and also I’ve been experiencing rubbing and bent sway bar links!!! You’re video helps for doing it properly!!!! My man!!
Hey mate, the link for the spacer is for an outlander and you’ve put it on an outlander sport (ASX in my country). Is that why you had the need for the adjustable camber arms etc? I’m thinking of getting the ADF outlander 1.5 inch for my 22 Outlander and not sure if I need the extra stuff or just the ADF kit as it says offsets are built into the lift to account for alignment. Cheers
@@Joshua-fm8jw according to their website you don’t need to get the other stuff in order to get your alignment dialed in to spec. I wanted to add them just to be certain as there is no camber adjustment from the factory in the rear.
It should a little! Mine did not settle after installing the H&R springs but I got mine second hand so I think they were pretty well worn in. I honestly love how much stiffer they are over stock springs.
I would say absolutely the first year I had mine it was stock on used all season tires and I had no issues with the winter weather here in New York. The lift makes no difference besides ground clearance and fitting bigger tires but you could keep the suspension stick and just get better tires and be very capable as CUVs go.

So I have our just over 16,000 miles on my car sense installing this lift kit. I personally have had no issues with tires, sway bar links and cv axels. From the research I did before installing everyone said if you do a 2” lift or less you are fine but when you got 2.5” or more that’s when you start running in to problems, ie not being able to properly align the vehicle, stress on the cv axels and premature failure. I’ve seen a few people running this kit with h&r lift springs and haven’t seen them running into issues but I would be concerned about destroying cv axels if I had 3” of lift installed. I just did an oil change in my car two weeks ago and always inspect my axels and suspension and everything is very solid for overall having 70k miles on my car. Even if I run into issues down the road I would attribute them due to age and mileage before blaming the lift kit on part failure.
