- If you haven’t had the chance, you need to go to @HeavyDSparks channel and look up the Cerro Gordo series that we filmed back in June. Turned out to be an amazing adventure and you’ll really enjoy it.
The following is going to be a behind the scenes more candid look at what all went into it from my perspective.
The Cerro Gordo ghost town is a piece of western history located west of the great Death Valley in California. Brent Underwood has endeavored to begin preserving the former mining town for many generations to enjoy. Sadly the Historic “American Hotel”, which was the crown jewel of the town, burned to the ground recently.
With the help of many, reconstruction has begun.
Come along on an adventure to see the role that HeavyDsparks, his crew, and myself played in getting the ball rolling.

Well…. To be Frank, you are a bit Thano-esque in the shoulders. Not to mention the glittery fingerless driving glove you keep under the seat of your Kenworth. Those factors contributed to the decision.

When I was watching the first show he announced he was going to help Brent I stood up and cheered like my team just won the superbowl because I was really worried whether Brent's dream would come true or not, so thank you soooo much for helping him and being the real American men you are. !!

Fate brought all ya guys together and it was thankfully it did! The bromance with Diesel is cool to see... I lnow that baby powder trick for a long time, used it some I spent 8 weeks in hospital once... now I just shaved my head.

I worked in radiology for 3 years at the Tonopah hospital and I was always curious about the drive to Death Valley but never made it. Now I know what I wasn't missing. Thanks for filling in the blanks. lol p.s. DV in the spring with the flowers blooming is a sight to see, though! I've seen pictures.

Oh man!! Instantly subscribed ! Came across heavy D a few weeks back so watched the whole concrete pouring then I’ve spent the last 2 weeks watching all the Ghost Town Living videos so I thought that’s me caught up with watching Cerro Gordo and I’m just gonna have to wait for Brent’s next upload and then this just haaaaaapens to get recommended so that’s my Saturday sorted!

Love all you guys! Brent, Heavy D, Diesel Dave, and really glad I found your channel too. I've been driving 25 years and I've driven pretty much everything. Started in a '66 KW with a 5 and 4 two-stick. Loved driving cabovers when I ran solo, but hated teaming in them. I'm still running, but I'm in a Cadillac Volvo now. Lazy trucking. Too old for the hard stuff now. But I'm really happy for you all and being able to watch you. Stay safe and keep the good videos coming.

I'm a little late to the show, but I just wanted to say 1 thing... It's kind of incredible to think about how things had to have lined up perfectly for Dave to see you on the highway that day. I mean, if either of you had left a few minutes earlier, or later... Decided to make a quick stop somewhere... I mean, it honestly seems like fate absolutely caused you guys to cross paths.
