cut the mint plant back and give it lots of water it will grow back
absolutely. they are resilient and tend to spread everywhere. also good to plant around buildings to discourage snakes, mice, spiders. Let the animals roll in mint to discourage flees ticks etc.rub mint on your skin to discourage mosquitoes.
yah.. it should reset - just keep it warm and wet. I'd move it back out - Sigh.. I would have made you leave it outside until it took to the dirt. - It was like putting it in a new environment completely which in turn could and can send them into shock. - Also trim those roots into a bulb like shape off the bottom of those containers.

When transplanting, trim the foliage to be in proportion with the root ball, so the roots can support the foliage.
they need get a bigger pot bc the root system was quite large also thin out plant to other pots

I think that a close cutback on the mint would be a good course of action. Really enjoyed the look at the hydroponic and the update. Everyone really looks great. Shea seemed to only make a cameo appearance this week. The new property that ‘the kids’ have is awesome. Would be great if they drew up a little map and gave an idea of what each area was... good thoughts and prayers are always coming your way. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, that stuff is usually pretty resilient... but almost all plants have to be hardened off before drastically changing their environment.

Yes, harvest most of the mint (makes awesome tincture) then try to acclimate but if u won the battle that's amazing, but reap what you sow in future bc it's a true gift u grew there.

We continue to pray for “Daddy Sneak Peak”...this is one of the best times of the week for myself and my 8 year old son, we truly love watching all of you every week, if I happen to forget to add Gary in our prayer list myson will pipe and say “ and don’t forget about Daddy sneak peak ! “ ...he has a precious heart and makes me so proud to be his Mumma. Loved getting to see the house Garen and Ellie bought, how lovely she is on her childhood homestead...she is just so precious and lovely. Every Friday evening I am reminded just how much goodness and light there is still left in this world, we just have to know where to look for it.
Just an idea for a future shirt design...I had either forgetten ( very likley) or never heard you refer to your collection of items to be used at a later time pile as the “*pile of opportunity*” ...I love that expression and just personifies how you all approach life in general. I think Bree has to be the happiest, most positive person; the closing part, with her sum up to the weekly peek, just makes me smile.

So much to love about this weeks WP, as usual! I advise that you cut that mint plant back, at least 1/2, because it's too much stress for it to be transplanted. By cutting it back, it'll have to support less foliage and can concentrate on getting comfy in the new environment. :)

You cut that mint to the dirt & water it. Just wait, it’s impossible to kill mint. It’s always isolated in my gardens because it roots and spreads under the soil .

Wow, early this week!! Very nice to be able to buy the house you grew up in. Can't wait to see how you fix it up. For the wallpaper removal, try a paper tiger wallpaper removal tool, and any cheap ammoniated glass cleaner, score the wallpaper, spray it till wet, wait a few minutes, repeat as needed... Very cool also turning the garden into a greenhouse. Hope Gary gets good news when you get the results. Thanks again for sharing your work!!

Cool buying a house you had good memories in. LOve mint plants. They are forgiving (outside in ground) and grow very fast. Garen and Ellie are a cute couple with wonderful future plans. winterizing is such a chore but very rewarding when all goes well. Ha Ha dogs were very helpful. liking the drone views.

We live in a very dry area also, our mint grows best where the water storage overflows and makes a bog, it seems to love wet'r than wet soil!
