@@joaquinbaume1291 not really tbh. At stage 2 your really only hitting 1 and 2 costs champions and he had 7 kayles and 6 swains after creep round. For the jarvan and fiora there really werent enough people to effect the pool that much

That was a super informative video. Really different vibe than the stream games. Like it a lot! I would love it if you can show off the new abilities of the champs even more, and speak about good positioning and items against them. Similar to how you talked about Miss Fortune and positioning the front line against her.

One thing I love about this set is how easy it is to pick up, due to the traits of champions being extremely intuitive since they just match their lore counterparts.

Hey Mort! The new set feels refreshing, I've hit GP 3* two times and noticed a pretty serious bug. The ships from GP will randomly impact on other players boards disrupting fights. This obviously isnt intended but wanted to try and make you aware!
its happens even without gp3, i learned it the hard way
Demacia feels so good now without the randomness I’m ready to crutch on it all season
How exactly does it work? Will Kayle always get rageblade or just in this game?

Looks like a another fun set Mort, love your teams work. I did noticed that kayles second non radiant guinsoos wasnt showing stacks occasionally I'm unsure if that was just a visual bug or not. I would love to see you show us the ixtal ryze comp❤

Tried PBE; unfortunately everyone is playing ASol with Bilgewater [Which is very strong early as per flat damage. EG: Lasercorp] and rushing Gangplank; who is bugged and sometimes just throws 8+ boats at you at once which is an instant win; even with 0 items and GP 1.
ya people suck, they know something is broken and just abuse it every game.
The boats can go onto other people's boards and kill their team too

Demais radiant not being random is a big hit. The new Swain seems good in theory, but he seems really weak early. I'm afraid it might not be worth it to wait until it is 3 stars

Not on PBE myself, so watching these are really fun. The set seems so fun.
I was kinda surprised that there were no new legends for the midset. Did the team want to add any new ones and run out of time or was i never planned to add new ones. I'm saying this because at the start of the set you mentioned that there might have been talk about a neeko legend that gave a random legend every game.
Oh no they said in the lead up to the mid set they weren't planning on adding more for the mid set, and that they weren't going to change them around every single set
I think they're meant to be a consistent familiar element between sets, but I do agree a neeko "random" legend could be fun

I got 3* Fiora my first PBE game! With Titans/BT/IE I was surprised how mediocre the difference was between 2 and 3 star. While she banged out squishies a lot quicker, the "tank shredder" I was expecting from the true damage felt subpar.
When the Egg showed up, we knew where this was going, admit it.
That swain rework really is amazing. Took all the negative parts of the unit and turned them into positives.

This game makes me wonder why emblems like the Demacia emblem cannot be used like a zaun augment rather than forcing a unit to have it take an item space.
Because it an insane amount of power, imagine a venquisher (or whoever they call it now) emblem on a unit giving it a bunch of crit and spell crit, and on top of that you add 3 full items on that unit. That's way too strong

Adding an extra trait to a unit without the consequence of losing an item slot is insanely strong. Probably would make certain emblems completely op.

I built a fiora 2 with slayer spat, even shroud + demacia radiant bt and she dunked on a belveth 3 with rageblade, BT and warmogs
4 challenger 3 demacia 2 slayer 2 jugg. Had a slayer and demacia spat. One off fiora 3 and couldnt even find one aatrox. Far from capped but absolutely insane fiora power

Im not so sure about the Demacia change, its gonna get real stale seeing Radiant BT fiora every game soon, the RNG element of random item makes it more interesting at least.

Swain will not survive, he will 100% get the Cho treatment and nerfed to trash-tier. Mort hates tanky units that can do damage.
Did they not want to buff fiora 3 or something? She's literally the same 4 cost fiora from like a few sets ago. She sucked hard asf at 3 stars and she's unchanged here. What's the deal?

Mort how would you feel about lowering the chance to pull a 4 cost at level 5 to 0%.
Also lowering the chance to pull a 5 cost at level 7 to 0% as well.
Would it be better to just remove the high roll aspect of pulling a good unit early on.
Also would love to see the chance of pulling a 5 cost at level 8 increased by 2%. Sometimes it feels so hard to pull that Bel Veth as your 8th Void unit. That being said increasing the chances could backfire with more people getting 2 star 5 costs at 8.
The problem with that suggestion is it absolutely kills any open fort or 5 loss streak strat and piltover. They all need lvl 7 to roll down and stabilize with 4 cost to stay relevant. The game would turn into if you don’t win steak early to hit 8 with enough hp you just lose or ff

I figured if slaughter docks gives players early agency in a game where getting early agency is hard, thats pretty good for everyone.
SO i figured maybe this could be a mainstay mechanic as in stage 2 and 3 only or something.
Then again im sceptical, cause it would make lose streaking very risky since all the boards are so strong.
Either way im hyped for the future of tft, great job tft team and mort!

Getting the pass is really unnecessary though, since PBE loads your account with a bunch of RP, so just go crazy on chest/egg/whatever opening.
why cant they add void ryze when they alrdy made 2 new. one portal not having a variant is just so odd.

Is this the last set as in no more tft updates?
It is not the last set, it is the last MIDset. After this, they'll move to a 4 month cycle for sets (instead of the current 3+3). So one new set every 4 months without a midset inbetween.
