In terms of strategist soul, wouldn’t adaptive helm make much more sense as an item? Could put on either frontline or back line, and it fits the strategist theme more

My first thoughts were Nashors or Statikks since Strategists are primarily AP carries but yeah, adaptive helm seems perfect both flavour as well as gameplay direction wise.
My one complaint with this midset so far is that we got stuck with another boring tank Illaoi, she deserves to be a carry someday.
Remember the promised 5g carry Illaoi....

I liked putting Mage emblem on Illaoi and rerolling for her at 6 with Astral in set 7. Double-casting for huge aoe damage + armor and mr. Maybe not "carry," but a lot more powerful and fun than set 9.5 Illaoi.

I feel like some of the new(er) items have become incredibly un-intuitive, especially when looking at their build path and the theme of the finished item.
What's everyone's view on switching recipes for Guardbreaker and Sterak's as well as Giant Slayer and Nashor's?
Guardbreaker: Sword + Belt. Makes sense as the item is literally a blade attached to a rope.
Sterak's: Glove + Belt. Makes sense as the item is literally a bulky gauntlet.
Nashor's: Sword + Bow. Makes sense as the item is dagger that gives AS.
Giant Slayer: Bow + Belt. Makes sense as the item is a flexible whirling chakram and the recipe should involve GIANT's Belt.
Base stats of each completed item could be adjusted for theme and balance.
Guard breaker would lose its crit component, not down to that.
Giant slayer doesn't need "giant" belt, it's there to slay giants and not to make a gigantic slayer.
That version of sterak's only makes sense if you want it to make sense. In my imagination it doesn't make much sense.
Nashor's is why not, but then again, the thing is a tooth from a giant lizard
@@HlleyXD Sterak's is a literal Glove. It's super confusing that the recipe does not involve a glove. As for Guardbreaker losing crit, it doesn't have to be that way. Base stats haven't been following components exclusively for a while now. Best example is Nasho's having AP despite being built from Bow and Belt currently. I'm not that concerned about stats as much as about thematic coherence. It just doesn't make sense that a bulky gauntlet is built from a sword and a belt rather than from an actual glove.
@@sseibert8254So a bow and a belt making a portal that spawns a voidling was thematically okay with you (Zz Rot Portal)? Or a vest and a glove combining into a cloak was also okay (Shroud)? Or a cloak and a belt combining into a sword (Zephyr) that was fine too?

Dev mode for sure. Hits Misfortune early and the game continues to feed strategist. When I hit a unit early and get some direction the game always stops giving me what I need.
I like to carry those lvl6 Rolls till lvl 7 for 3 costs

Jayce's workshop is kinda more interesting but I am so tired of the University, it always gets choosen and doesn't change the game that much overall idk I just think is kinda boring. Not asking for it to be delated it has a good place but there are so many better maps.
Why mort doesn't scout others at all, at least in the early game? 😅

1. Need a rotating sets mode please! Normals in whatever the current set is not exciting. Going to a random previous set is very exciting.
