Very helpful. I’m setting up my first ad campaign right now. I’m a bit confused about the ad group vs the ad. Do you have to pay for each individual ad group that targets specific niche like medical for example…?
Starting out, just put one ad in each ad group. Later you can have multiple ads per ad group to test against each other. The way you pay based on what I show here is not per ad or ad group, but per click at the campaign level. The campaign will pick which ad group and ad to show but all costs will be ran via the campaign
Quick question! You suggested $15 max cpc bid limit during your campaign demonstration, but your campaigns inside the account are all $40-100 avg cpc? So you don't use max cpc of $15 on your own campaigns?
I used $15 as an example. Actual bidding data should come from the planning tools. I didn’t want someone seeing me throw $60/click around in my experienced campaign with more on the backend, and then them attempt the same and lose a lot of money to bad clicks. Most people will need to bid above $15 per click in our industry, but they need to be sure their campaign is set up to not waste their money. As an influencer, rather them learn and develop their campaigns on the safe side instead of the high cost side.
@acommercial Cleaning CEO Hello, I’m starting a new cleaning company with no experience, should I focus on residential first then grow to commercial? Seems like is harder barrier to entry in commercial.

I would focus on smaller commercial first.
