Coming from the Paper Mario TTYD speedrun with the awkward silences and the moody teenager, I gotta say that this one is so much better and a good example of how far a good/fun personality goes. I'm gonna follow this dude on Twitch, he's great.

I was so happy to watch this run live. I've been a regular in Enigma's Twitch channel for a year or so now, so I was super hype about this! Was so exciting to just see him do his thing and see all the new people show up afterwards; the positivity from it all was overwhelming! Awesome job on a great run Enigma! And what are the odds of getting 11121 as a time! Just wow! It was fate!

I was already going to click on this video because it's Silent Hill but I was pleasantly surprised to see that Enigma was running it. I remember ages ago watching a WR run of the game on his channel so it's really cool to see him :)
A year later and I still remember this run over many others because of Enigma... such a nice video to even put on the background and listen to while doing something else

whats his deal with the word "oppressive"? i think based on the dictionary definition, "weighing heavily on the mind or spirits; causing depression or discomfort", it's a pretty accurate way to describe the room's effect on him in the second half of the game

As much as this game is a technical trainwreck and a perfect example of everything to not do when designing a video game, it's still an absolute masterpiece. Great run.
I'm glad I'm able to watch this now since I couldn't stay up during the week. Great game played through it on my channel but took me waaaaaaaay longer haha
I like to use speedruns to help me find good routes and such. Only difference is I like to fight the monsters instead of running. But like many here I ended up enjoying the runner and the overall couch vibe. This was useful and very entertaining so bravo. Also I totally took the doll coz I like the surprise 😆. I get scared going back to the room to save because of the hauntings they are draining my resources fast.
Well now I'm gonna have to check and see if aneternalenigma has a TH-cam channel, because this was fantastic! Very good run with excellent commentary. :)

I really like how in a speed-run environment the silent hill games become much more comedic as opposed to suspenseful.
Need more runners and couches like this.

This is top 5 runs in this AGDQ. My favorite runs seem to come on the early early hours of the stream.

Haha, YEP. I was so tired, my impressions didn't have the zing they usually have and I knew it. Definitely sounded more like Tom Anderson.
I usually skip around on speedruns but this is the first one I actually sat and watched the entire thing without skipping one part. Great run, man.
