I watch a bunch of barndominium videos as research for when I do mine and I have come to realize that the interior decorator is more important than the building design..
Jim--So important. Interior design and selections are about 75% of what makes a space so appealing to the eye!! You are a very smart man!!

Same here. I've seen so many videos..and saved a lot of ideas from other barndominiums on pinterest..the fixtures and flooring can make or break a budget..but I'm enjoying seeing the many designs..such creativity
I agree. I mean I love the exterior of this building but the interior really let me down
I am looking for new home, but refuse to leave in a traditional cookie cutter house, even new houses they are dull, boring without appeal, this barndominion is a great idea, this lady has a great talent, she knows how translate ideas into reality,

I love how everything is oversized! Insane ceiling height, crazy deep and long islands, rediculous size kitchens! Smh.....Being in my State of Texas makes it that much more appealing!!!! This place is probably the best thought out home I've seen.

I'm now in the middle of talking my husband into changing jobs, moving to the Piney Woods and planning a home very similar to this beautiful straight up TEXAN home. A pizza oven! Brilliant! I was sold on the first sight of the gate. But the pizza oven, butler pantry, sliding dormers for the doors, the bathroom...

That porch doesn't look like 20x80! Speaks to how big the rest of the place is, very cool and well thought out place.
Oh, how I wish it were 20 x 80! Our side porch is 22' x 46'!!
This is the best thing I've ever seen, the most difficult thing must be making things to size to fit how huge the whole space is, a normal fireplace for example would look so out of place in that giant room its not even funny, every time she mentioned the size of stuff I giggled like a schoolgirl, this is the most Texas thing I've ever seen.

Stacy is extremely talented and this by far is the best barndo I’ve seen. Or any new home for that matter. It’s obvious that she has the money for her interior design ideas but very few ppl have her skills. The only concern I had with her home is the trees falling during hurricane season. The sliding barn doors to protect her windows is genesis. If it were my house I would have preferred big wood beams instead of metal but they did kind of grow on me by the end of the film. She put a tremendous amount of time into this house and the detailing is mind boggling. She isn’t some cookie cutter designer. They will have so much fun entertaining in that home. Can’t wait to follow her on IG. She is amazing and humble!

Karen!! Thank you girlie!! I count myself very blessed for sure. I realize the advantages. And I also want to remind folks that we are a little older and further along in our life. We have worked hard and saved and God has seen fit to let us enjoy it a bit. We would never have been able to do this when we were in our 20's or 30's. So you folks just getting started can do the same thing too!! Thanks for your compliments on my design style. You are very right--I don't like cookie cutter plans. House planning is my thing and I think it maybe my only talent!! LOL!! I love your changes to our plan!! What works for us is not for everyone and I am OK with that!! I totally would have screened patios. I know Texas skeeters, horse/deer flies, flies, gnats and june bugs. GORGEOUS home though!! Very inspiring.
I don't know how I ended up here, but I am GOBSMACKED!! I did not know there was a thing called barndominium until now, this house blew my mind, its so original and so incredibly unique inside and out!! The landscape is beautiful too!! Wow!!

This thing is amazing. Any ball park guesses on the cost of such a build? She has incredible taste. Her personal touch everywhere is beyond. I love the ceiling tiles, outdoor living room with pizza oven and the amount of light in each room. Also the steel counter / island with the pool table legs looks fantastic. So much character and thought went into this. Very very impressive, Stacy!

Absolutely enjoyed this walk-thru. Hoping to build one in Tennessee when I retire. Love the "Lockdown" concept of the main floor. Being able to secure the home, especially when traveling, is huge in my opinion.

I Love it!!! Thank you for this video of that incredible space. It has given me some ideas for our yet to be done outdoor space here in Central Tx. I built our Barndo and I did everything except the metal building and the ceiling drywall. 40x70', two stories and we ended up with 3500 sq ft of floor space for living plus a shop. It took me 3 years and we lived in the Barndo Guest House I did first while the main house was being done. I would love to say it is finished but I still have some trim details to work out and then the outdoor space.

Wowza!! Everything is on a GRAND scale! Humongous, personalized space. Lots of light. Ceiling fans. Needed in humid Houston. Who would ever think that this was a three bedroom home? Awesome home, made for entertaining!

Thank you John!! We try to make our home very comfortable for our guests! I say if our guests put their feet on the coffee table or the sofa, then I have done my job of making them feel welcome and right at home!! It puts a smile on my face every time!! Happy Easter!

Mondo Barndo! These places look so huge and people so miniature inside them. They can’t possibly be as big as they look on screen. Gotta be some special lenses. Either way I love love love these. And to this lady awesome job on designing this.

I'm wanting to build a barndominium in the next year and this gave me some great ideas! I can't really afford one this size but I love the layout on a much smaller scale would be right up my alley!!!! I love all the glass windows and I would definitely want those big doors! My goal is to open up the doors and look at my four beautiful horses out in the pasture. 🥰🥰🥰
