Thanks for the info man, I lived in Thailand for almost 2 years and I’ve always regretted not properly learning the language. I think I’ll give this a go when I return 🤙🏼

i cant find anywhere, where it says you need to only be in school for 4 months and than you dont need to attend classes. Is that info correct?

I think in group learning, you should be in advanced classes where everything is written in thai abugida and questions in Thai only.
This limits the very old people wasting your whole time for 30 mins for a word. I myself using 1-to-1 learning platforms for 12 months before taking a face-to-face live class. This makes things less nerve wrecking and awkward

    Hi, good video thank you.
My name is Kamal, I'm a 71 year old British pensioner.
Don't worry, I'm still 33 in the head, and the bodies still in fairly good condition.
I'm legally married in Thailand and we own our house in Chom Thong, which is
approximately 50 kilo from Chiang Mai.
The actual marriage visa is out of my reach at the moment.
I'm very interested in the Education Visa to learn the Thai language.
What are my first steps while I am in England, I am not sure where to begin.
Do I contact an education centre first, or do I wait until I come to Thailand
Do I come on a tourist visa and then apply to change it in Thailand.
Your experience would be very helpful to me.
    Take care
    Kamal

Come on a tourist visa (get one online). It gives you 60 days up front. During the first 30 days, pick a school and go through the process of converting your tourist visa to a student visa

@@WomanOfTheWomb hi, thanks for the reply
Do I need to get a tourist visa , because I believe that I can stay for 60 days within a visa.
Or, do I need the tourist visa for the school. Thanks.
