Hey Jordan, this is awesome !! great review and I like how you go coaching style reviewing these great plays by the pros!!, keep it up , I can't wait for the next videos... thanks for this video
Wow 🤩 Wow 🤩 Wow 🤩 Jordan! I loved 🥰 this breakdown! You are now my favorite ❤️ TH-cam channel on Pickleball ! Keep them coming 👍🏼 Love the Slow motion and analysis in particular! Hope to look you up for coaching in person next time we are in Arizona.
Funny, I sent a link to this match with the timestamp to a bunch of my friends Sunday saying this was the most amazing point I can recall seeing. Really appreciate the breakdown, Jordan.
Dekel should let that high defensive lob from Ben bounce instead of going for the weak blinded overhead. It would have bounced really high, and he could have just crushed it at it's apex around rib-cage high without having to stare into the sun. I find pro players are sometimes too insistent on hitting an available overhead either because of tennis instincts or because they don't want to give their opponent an extra second of time to get set defensively, but sometimes when the ball it going to bounce really high it is 100% the right move to pass on the overhead and just let it bounce. Thomas WIlson does this well.
I always think it's better to stack from the middle rather than the sideline when returning. If the serve pulls the returner out wide, you can always call an audible and decide not to unwind the stack. With the person starting off the court to the side, you don't have a choice. I guess it doesn't affect the Johns, but it seems silly to me that they do it this way. As always love your breakdowns, great learning experience.
@@BrionesPickleball thanks, that makes sense, I guess. Do you think it’s better to stack to the sideline for increased vision? Or do you not have a preference?
Great point for sure. Not sure it warrants 20 minutes of analysis. The point between Vich and Stak makes this point look like a warm up point for 3.0. :). I know it's apples and oranges comparing singles and doubles, but the singles point is simply another level of athleticism.
2:00 you teach this, but I notice all you youtubers don’t teach how Collin doesn’t run to net as Ben drives trying to shake and bake. You TH-camrs teach to run to net and shake and bake.
i know being set and using split step is very important but as I get better in PB, I notice that I can hit balls on the run more and it just becomes second nature when playing...It's similar to when i play softball and have to make a quick run/throw on a ball hit slowly to the infield...there isn't time to get your feet set and you have to throw on the run and it is totally against everything you learn from a fundamental aspect but it has to be a part of your game...i see a lot of innovations in pickleball over the yrs and the more athletic it gets, the more "change on the fly" plays happen more often
@@BrionesPickleballI think all the pausing and replaying is fine, and is ultimately the point of the video. But it is good advice to play the whole point in its entirety first before you start breaking it down, so the viewer has the context to know what they are watching.
Love when you do these breakdowns of high level points. Amazing athleticism by Bar and McGuffin
😎

I appreciate that!
I really enjoyed this point breakdown of a pro match. I found it really insightful. I will be waiting to see more of these.
👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent job breaking this down and walking us through both sides of the play. Awesome.
Much appreciated!
That was a great tournament as a live spectator/streamer. Like to re-watch great play as a re-cap of points the way you do. Keep up the re-caps.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yay! Thank you!
Excellent breakdown of this clip. Nice job Coach….
Glad you liked it!
Love the breakdown of the point. This really helps me as a student of the game. You have to watch film to get better.
👍🏻😎
Great format. Keep up the good work bud!!!
😎
Yes, I like this new type of breakdown.
👍🏻🤙🏼
Love the breakdown of specific points that you think are exceptional teaching points.
👍🏻😎
Loved the format and replay. Well done
Much appreciated!
Love the breakdowns. So much learning. Thank you.
👍🏻😊
Loved your breakdown, and I totally agree with you. It was an amazing point! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very effective the way you slowed it and broke it down by footwork, paddle position, and shot possibilities.
Thanks!
awesome breakdown!!! looking forward for more!
Thanks!!
Great point, and an excellent breakdown.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent breakdown thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Great breakdown! I do think it would have been helpful to see the whole point first, then do the breakdown, then seeing it again.
Sorry, for copyright reasons, I have to break up the point
Didn’t know that! Understood! Thank you

👍🏻👍🏻
I'd love to hear a comparison of different women's styles. For instance, Allyce Jones vs Hurricane Black.
👍🏻👍🏻
Stacstrud-Vich is the best final ever. Should have made ESPN.
👍🏻
100%

It really depends on the situation, that’s a hard decision to make

They do this because they have good returns and so that they don’t block each others vision
@@BrionesPickleball thanks, that makes sense, I guess. Do you think it’s better to stack to the sideline for increased vision? Or do you not have a preference?
I like stacking the way that you said lol
I usually love these breakdowns. I found this one difficult to watch. Too many rewinds without letting us actually see any of the point.
This is a reaction not a breakdown per se lol
Thanks
Love the reaction videos. Do women's doubles please!
Coming soon!
22 mins was ALOT to watch for what was seen here. Seeing the points in full speed would have been nice
Thanks, this is a different kind of video, thanks for the feedback

Nothing warrants a 20 min analysis? lol
I’m doing a singles breakdown soon
You’re putting words in my mouth. Never said nothing. Just said I’m not sure one point warrants 20 min breakdown.
Thanks , got it
dope hat
lol thanks

Find me one video that I’ve taught this. lol

Being balanced and stable in the transition zone is critical at high levels
too much talking pausing and replaying. you should show the entire point first.
Thanks for the feedback

I thought it was a great analysis and I like the pausing and coaching provided at key points. Keep it going Jordan!
