Britain's Former Home Secretary, Priti Patel, is expected to join the Conservative Party's leadership race. So far, 6 candidates are expected to compete to take former PM Rishi Sunak's place. Patel would be the second British-Indian after Suella Braverman to try and gun for the Tory top job. But will either of them be able to succeed Sunak?

First of all, we need a proper investigation about the bickering within the Conservative Party was, and is still about. Before anyone, in particular, Suella or Priti throw themselves in the leadership battle.
Rishi has improved the economics of UK, painful decisions had to be taken. Yet, within the Conservative Party, members who knows full well of UKs economics, chose to stab him, why??.
Liz tried to bribe her way through, but failed miserably. With disastrous consequences to the economics of the country. Which Rishi was left to address, amongst other issues following Brexit, Covid, backlash from European counter parts and more.
Labour has inherited a much improved economy.
Boris contravened his own law, while inflicting severe fines onto others if the same law is contravened.
Yet a good proportion of people in UK still believe tht these two were fit to lead the conservative n the country.
Suella n Priti should think very carefully before they put themselves forward in this leadership contest.
The bickering within the conservative has led to the crowning of a Labour regime.
Kier has been quick to stop the Rwanda decision to please a certain quarter. Kier said having been involved in the past at dealing with the immigration issue, he has the knowhow on how to stop illegal immigrants. I guess he wants us to believe that he knows where the mafias are located n he will go n destroy them. Hence no more boat people??.
Let's see how long it will take him to stop the boat people how many would have got through to UK's shores, by the time, if he ever find the right solution, pleasing everyone in solving this issue.

Sunak was slow to implement the Rwanda policy...
Why was he slow, because of some people, just fr political gains, not fr the country, jammed the Rwanda issue. Priti Patel worked on this project Rishi Sunak inherited this project. Quite a long road without success.
Suella Braverman, would have, against all the odds, implemented the project. But there would have had, hypocritical backlash from many quarters, claiming her resignation.
One should ask carefully why the Rwanda project failed.
Let see Labour tackling the issue of boat people, illegal immigrants. Kier Starmer claimed during the election campaign, tht he has the knowledge, since he worked at the foreign Office dealing with illegal immigration.
Sunak was slow to implement everything pertaining to immigration ... the only thing he was quick to implement were some damaging financial cuts (ouch!!! they hurt) .
