I haven't cried in a long time. Today, lm crying for this person l have never met whose life mattered so much. She leaves behind a family and children. Maybe she was their breadwinner and protector. Maybe they slept easy knowing she was there. I am deeply sorry for their loss.

There are also wicked Ugandans mistreating their spouses, some even kill but its not on the news. Rebecca's case is big becoz she was a star. So many people suffer in silence. Nowadays people drag India's name freely when it comes to rape cases as if rape cases are exclusive to India.......Truth is - Only India only has guts to protests against rape, go on strike, block roads etc that many other countries lack, where rape cases are instead hidden to protect that country's image. This doesn't mean rape happens only in India - it happens everywhere. In fact, if you compare ratio of India's population with its rape cases, India would rank lower than countries like the U.S., U.K., or some Islamic nations.
There is no " safe space " , men also get killed in fights outside home, it only kills women in domestic fights.

This happened to my cousin in May, 2024. She was an entrepreneur and was also raising chickens and selling them. She sold some chicken to her neighbor, so she went to the neighbor 's house to ask for her money. The lady (neighbor) refused to pay the money, so she went in the house took Petrol and came back with her husband. Together they pour petrol on my cousin and set her on fire. Some people who heard my cousin screaming took her to the hospital and let her family know after that. She passed away after two weeks in the hospital. The lady, her husband and children ran away and we haven't got justice for my cousin. All to say there are people who are so wicked on this earth. May the soul of the Ugandan lady rest in peace and may the Lord Almighty comfort her children and her family and may the wicked boyfriend stay in jail all his life.
I think she is Kenyan married to a Ugandan. He name is a kalejine name and her parents and family lives in Kenya. That man is evil…the pain he put her through and the trauma she caused to the daughter is unforgivable

I left Kenya with my children in 2002 because of DV. My x husband was a multi millionaire and he would beat me senseless…you can’t do anything, no one listens and if they do, they say persevere…truth be said, do we persevere until we end up burnt to death…I live in a far away country, and more than 20 years after, my psychological scars are still fresh and my physical scars are still visible. To Rebecca family and daughter my heart cries for you and with you…no words can make you feel better…let’s all continue the fight against DV? God our father rest Rebecca soul in his eternal peace, I cannot imagine the pain she went through
