What makes it all the more amazing is the fact that Norah Jones writes much of her own music. Norah's voice is so soothing and soulful, she can calm the most frayed of nerves, tame some terrible anxiety, and sing peace to the heart. One day in 2002 the waitress in a Dallas restaurant brought me my lunch just as a voice such as I have never heard came from the sound system. I could not take a bite until I called the waitress back and asked who was singing that song. Norah Jones, she said. She went to high school just down the road from here. Ms. Jones continues to amaze me.

I love everything about this amazing & beautiful woman.... Norah Jones sings with a soulful sound similar to Nina Simone, but with the silky smoothness of Sarah Mclachlan. What makes it all the more amazing is the fact that Norah Jones writes much of her own music. Norah's voice is so soothing and soulful, she can calm the most frayed of nerves, tame some terrible anxiety, and sing peace to the heart. Norah's songs "Come Away With Me" and "Don't Know Why" are such beautiful masterpieces, I can listen to them every day of the year, and never ever get tired of them!
That makes 4 times in a row now. Never wanted it to end. Just wonderful.
