My wife inherited her dad's coin collection last year. It's a nice addition to what I already have. :) I remembered he had an uncirculated roll of Ikes so I just dug them out. Sure enough they are 1976-D type 1. So, even though I'm not an expert, I've been collecting for 20 years myself, so I took a look at them with my loop. Gotta say, I'm sending 4 of them in. The rest are MS 65 or 64, but these four, well, they are quite outstanding. Time to go through the other five rolls, but they aren't marked unc. Thanks very much for this interesting video!!
I found another roll of unc, but these are 1976-D type 2. Two are good enough to send in, but I'm gonna wait until I see what they do with the 4 I send first. :)

Coin collecting is very lucrative.But you have to have patience and identify the coins.When my oldest son was born .This is how I was able to invest in his comic book collection❤😅😅
You are seriously like one of the only ones on here that actually want to help and educate rather than show videos about coins no one will ever see and marvel over what they sold for. Unless you’re a millionaire and spend a lot of time at auctions. Every coin in this video I consider at least within reach.

I just came back to this video again, I have access to some Ike dollars that were given to me by grandparents when I was really young. My mom has an old canvas bank bag filled with different coins. One thing I am mainly looking for is to see if there's a high grade 1921-S Morgan that I could send off to get graded to be part of my collection, I did find an 1971-D Ike that would most likely grade 65 or higher. Thank you again for this video.

It does not show the Brown copper on their side of the coin
It weighs more than a regular copper Eisenhower
It makes a different sound than a regular Eisenhower
In the finish on it is different than a regular Eisenhower
It is a bit tarnished And I'm wondering if it may be a proof with no mint mark or a standard Eisenhower minted on the wrong metal Please help me find out what I have thank you

Oh no you just talked me out of my nieces birthday presents. I am new to this and just last Friday went to the bank and bought $540 worth of Ike's. Someone has turned in. I've found S's , slivers, type 1, Type 2, Gold, friendly eagle.💃 But none was a 1973. Being a newbie I'd better keep her birthday presents for now. Perfect timing on the video. Thanks so much

Great clip got a double ear on 1972
'73 and '74 brown box Ike's arrived today. No tics or damage of any kind and both will bring a 67 DCAM I believe. Fields almost black they are so deep and the even deep frost is ridiculous. Both clearly very very early strikes on their particular die.

Where did they come from? My bank doesn't have any. I wanted to give my grandchildren some like my Grandma did for her grandchildren. The ones that I had were stolen from my home years ago before I knew anything about coins. And I don't know much right now. I'm learning though.
Oh man! I'm so happy you did this video! I am working on an Ike dollar collection. I have 12 of them graded ms65 or better, all in NGC holders. My "best" one may be a 1973 S silver graded MS67. What do you suppose it's worth? I intend to collect every Ike dollar listed in the blue book in an NGC holder in a grade of 65 or better. I collect all different coins, but this set is going to be "my baby" Thank you very much and keep these great videos coming!

I have the 1976 1970 cooling but I do have it with the mint mark so I don't know what does it sell for with the mint mark?

The #1 bicentennial proof no mintmark was actually a pattern or specimen coin struck by the mint. It was given to a Senator, who spent it at a department store. The clerk wisely kept it, and as far as I know the family still owns it.

It's going to cost you more money to grade than it is worth, struck through grease filled die doesn't add any value.

Level of membership in pcgs gonna do anything in grading for examp i have basic level membership and someone else have a gold level pcgs do better grading or higher number for Gold level.?

It's the business clad 1972 but not the silver. Look up the Ike group website, they have varieties listed.

A friend of mine has an Eisenhower Liberty 1974 1dollar Coin, she is looking to sell her coin right now. I told her to look at her coin a little. Her grandmother gave it to her.
My Mom gave me some Ike dollars, that are really nice and don't appear to have any issues, that are in GSA type holders. I already spoke to NGC, I can send them off and get them graded like you would GSA morgans. I am going to send them off then I can post the results when I get them back. Both of my parent's support me when it comes to collecting coins.

Finally went through all my Eisenhower coins..have one 1972 D with a "silver" band twice as think/wide as the copper band..weighs in at 24.7 g....same as most "ike" dollar coins,but that band width makes it look weird!!
Great video!!! One of my favorite coins. I grew up with Eisenhower still in circulation. I don't know if any Eisenhower I own will grade that high but I'm willing to try. I have some mint sets I could try😁😁.

Unless they're graded and attributed by PCGS or NGC then they will not be worth the same or much more than face. The coins showed are graded and labeled by PCGS.

I notice all the type 2 coins don't have it. And the type 1s DO...But my coin has not been found on any channels or websites I went to. I would greatly appreciate any help you could offer.
