Breath taking is the right word for this video. Everything as far as the eye can see is beautiful and abundant. I love this area so much. I feel a road trip coming up again. 🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉
Go on that road trip, don't let anything stop you! There is so, so much beauty to enjoy out there! 🚙🌊🌳⛰️ Travel safe when you do hit the road and make awesome memories. With your outlook, I know you'll have the grandest time! 🤩
There were a few times where we could hardly believe the incredible beauty which surrounded us the whole time. The folks who live in these places are truly fortunate to call the Garden Route their home! 🚙🏡
Stunning trip. Thank you both once again, you definitely need an air fryer Curtis & Sonja. Steaks, chikken fillets, boerie, pastries . Anything is done to perfection. Just put foil under the food then it doesn't need to be washed after each use. I love love love mine. Stay safe till we're on the road again 🚙🚙🥰
This was the first time we've had an air fryer in our accommodation and it was good to try out. We don't travel with foil though, but that's a good tip.👌🏻Thank you for joining us in this trilogy of fantastically-beautiful places. 🚙😁
Yes, it's a truly beautiful area and we were super happy to have visited it for the first time. We appreciate you coming along to all these places you know very well. 🚙🤩
Brenton is absolutely beautiful. Was there many times as well as the Belvedere church. Must be nice to spend a holiday in the resort. Thank you for this trip i enjoyed it and it woke up some memories of the past. See you on the next trip booked as usual
I had an idea you may know this beautiful part of the Garden Route well too. These three places are absolutely gorgeous and it's clear that the local folks treasure the natural beauty they've been blessed with. We just love that! 🌳⛰️🌊 I'm happy you could go back in the past and relive some good times. Remember to hop on again tomorrow! 🚙😁
Such a beautiful piece of world, and so many wonderful memories for me. My hubby was particularly fond of this area (who isnt!!) and we had many a merry holiday out here. Lovely place you stayed over in. That bed is big enough for all your backseat passengers!!!🤣😂🤣Love that evening view. Glorious!! And waking up to a lovely sunny day. Sad about the butterflies. Wonder what started destroying them in the first place. Perhaps the particular flowers they eat got destroyed? This place is indeed paradise, I hope the people living here are very grateful. The bushbuck are the highlight for me. I have been across that lagoon on a train, way back in 1999. Pity you didnt find the tiny little Belvidere Chapel. But perhaps it is no longer extant.I will never forget stepping inside.
The Garden Route just never disappoints in terms of natural beauty. 🌳⛰️🌊 I read that the numbers of the Brenton blue butterfly, now classified as critically-endangered, possibly extinct, initially declined because the drought had a devastating impact on the host plant population. 😢🦋🌱 You're fortunate to have such great memories of the area, including a train ride across the lagoon! 😍🚂
Hi guys wow nature views beaches I have never heard of these places they are outstanding what a place to live the property was amazing the accommodation looked great with 4 poster bed we are still contemplating getting a air fryer .interesting about the blue butterfly we also have a blue one in our area that is endangered. The locals seem really friendly the property top notch I remember picking up a SA guy in my black cab who told me he had acres of land on the coast at Nysna I bet he's a rich man now !!! Lovely to see the sunshine the whole place had a upmarket but relaxed vibe amazing to have Bush buck walking in the gardens. The Anglican church built in Romanesque style mind blowing in that it seems from a different time? I love that you found the railway tracks can you imagine how it was travelling on it then over the lagoon back in the day .one thing I noticed was the old street lamps .and when you mention about the squire had to be English area lol amazing video thanks for taking me along cheerio till the next one
Interesting to read that you also have an endangered blue butterfly, I hope that your species can be saved. 🤞🏻🦋 That black cab passenger of yours must've done well with land in the Knysna area, that is prime property today! The bushbuck and the Anglican Church were two highlights and we also felt transported back in time! 🦌💒 I would've loved to take that train ride over the lagoon. 🚆🌊
Hi, I am a paraplegic and am interested in wheelchair accessible accommodation/ tourist sites, you could not comment should you come across sites of interest to elderly/ disabled?
I'm speaking under correction, but I think sites like Airbnb and TravelGround should have filters which will only show wheelchair-friendly establishments. ♿
We've been sharing accommodation rates since a few trips ago and have in the vast majority of episodes since the beginning mentioned the name of our accommodation establishments. We used to book through Airbnb and lekkeslaap, so they could easily be found online too. We're budget travellers, so start looking around the lowest rates where we do. 😁🏡
No worries, we're happy to have you here! 🚙😁 If you have questions about our accommodation in any specific town, you're welcome to post those in the Comments section and I'll be happy to answer if I can. 🏡
I am sure this is going to be an utterly delightful trip!!!!!!
A very nice place to visit
What a feast to the eye and soul. Splendid, splendid!!
Belvidere looks stunning! Heaven on earth!
I agree with you, such a pristine place with the most beautiful nature all around! 🚙🤩

I'm glad you enjoyed this episode. The Anglican Church is in fantastic shape, I loved seeing the stone inside and out. 🚙💒
Great video again, you guys pass our families beach house, love the south coast
I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Your family is fortunate to own a holiday home in this area, it's absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! 😍🏡
Belvidere and Brenton look stunning , they look better than many seaside places in the UK, and the cars in the video seem new and modern too.

Correction on the flags at Brenton. It's not a United Nations Flag but a European Union flag, 12 stars in a circle
Correction noted, thank you. 🏳️
I just love it - so beautiful. Is this the South Atlantic? Or Indian Ocean?
This is the Indian Ocean and I agree with you, it's super beautiful there! 😍🌊
