Super impressed at how easily you can find Luxord in the cards. I've used the Focus Button to slow down time to follow him because he's so fast! Great job!
@@Carnyzzle It's definitely up there. My personal hatred for the Ansem fight (with all pro codes that dm's wonky hitbox makes it pure hell) in particular leads me to rank that one even lower, but yeah - Luxord is way too gimmicky.
You can fail the DM and still win the fight too, so pretty much yeah. After he does it he just goes back to his regular rotation so if you have a lot of time left you can just keep going and win anyway.
if by interesting you mean totally boring. This is quite literally the worst boss gimmick ive seen in the history of boss gimmicks, and is probably just the easiest boss in kingdom hearts period

He is the hardest of Data XIII so far for me. I’ve beaten him Terra-nort, Marluxia, Larxene, Siax, and Young Xehanort. Really looking forward to Ansem and Xemnas
@@Chippy247you have to hit the cards that has a circle on them instead of an X. Once you done that The rest of the X cards and Luxord's card will be revealed. Hit his card and you can do a full combo on him. During the time where you are trying to find the circle cards one of the x cards is going to home in on you. Also the X and Luxord's will be facing at Sora while the circle cards will just be stationary. I hope this helps.

Seems like such an obvious tactic in the end there, but I was never able to pull it off. I was never able to finish the final stage of his DM without triggering his big attack, so in the end I just beat him by playing every other part of the fight flawlessly and tanking the damage.
This fight was painfully unfun to me. Nothing interesting about it, and it takes so long just to have an attack hit the wrong target and set you far back. Hated this fight

I hate the camera in this game sometimes, because moving and moving the camera at once is just hard sometimes, especially when you are trying to get an opening :(
Take your time and play along with him. When he scuffles the cards, the dud ones will always face you when you run around, while the O cards will stay still. Once you clear them, all of the dud ones along with Luxord's card will be revealed, attack the latter and you will damage him.
No matter what I do every time I hit or flip the last Luxord card on his DM he just goes “I always win!” And blows me up in a cutscene, really stupid move and feels incredibly unfair. I do what he wants and he ‘wins’ anyway.
I didn't even know he was vulnerable during half these attacks I just beat him... As in intended... *shudders* I need to parry less take risks more often.

Is it bad that I found Luxord harder than Xigbar? He wasn't hard for the right reasons though it was moreso the lockon system in KH3 that was the problem. His attacks are very predictable and easy to guard/dodgeroll. However whenever it came to the card minigame where you have to hit the circle. Even if Sora was locked onto the right card and was holding the right direction he would fling himself into one of the X's removing time, I had to constantly cancel my attacks straight after initating them to stop that bs from occuring. With Xigbar sure overall hes harder, but the game rewards you for learning the fight and Guarding effectively. Using Showdown at the right times, escaping the purple shots, dodging the blue bullets. Where as with Luxord it always felt like RNG because of the fucked lockon system. One thing I do appreciate however is the fact you don't need to win the DM to beat him in that aspect it improves upon KH2FMs Luxord data fight, but aside from that I prefer the original data fight. Nice work btw mate, you fucked him up sideways!

His DM is bugged on my end, I swear to god...He just keeps yelling at me to pick a card but all of them are X cards and the rest just never flip over, ever. I have no choice but to wait out the timer till I just die and it's pretty frustrating, considering I've beaten literally every other data boss accessible at the moment.
Every time I try to attack him when hey throws cards heys immortal. Hey instant teleports do how can this guy hit him at those points and I can't. Also his time bar isn't lowering mine keeps lowering even though I didn't get hit
Chunky Monkey it isn’t a hard dm at all from what I’ve seen from other players (haven’t had a chance to get REmind yet), he just moves fast as hell and switches his style up after a while during his dm phase
I have a big problem with this fight, namely you completely missed the point in the first half where he puts up cards all over the place and there is no way to tell which is the right card to hit in time.
His DM is way easier than the rest of his moveset. Don't understand why they made him this easy compared to the others. He might even be easier than in the main game
@@sparknazo they can switch things up without making him a total joke. You can't even call this a boss. I knew right away when fighting data luxord that something was wrong when my very first combo chunked him for 10-15% of his time guage....on crit....at level 45.

Ok, this fight became the easiest once I realized how many openings he has before doing any of the card games.
