Critical Mode tip for those who aren't quite Keyblade Gods like Will: Equip Nano Gear. Saix can stun Sora with his Claymore throws if they connect, making whatever attack he follows up with instant death. Nano Gear has the Stun Protection ability which negates that ailment. Granted, you could just dodge every claymore throw, BUT the claymore attacks in Saix's DM can be tricky to dodge. Bring Nano Gear as an insurance policy.
Fun fact about the double form oblivion and oathkeeper when you doge with them it actually does damage and if the dodge hits him it literally chunks his rage bar so you can be defensive here while lowering his gauge, I like that Roxas keyblades have a nice gimmick here even though it probably wasn’t intentional
@@hasan7275 Dude stop the cap. Double form uses attacks similar to valor form from kh2. He doesn't fight like Roxas. And oathkeeper and oblivion isn't roxas's keyblades. These keyblades existed before Roxas was even an idea.
@@johnpantag472 double form has moves that are references to Roxas' boss fight in KH2... that finisher where you puff out your chest and do AOE damage is one of Roxas' moves. and if you attack an enemy that's below you, you'll flip into them how Roxas would. it may have inspiration from valor form but I'm not sure, I never noticed. Roxas is definitely associated more heavily with Oblivion and Oathkeeper than Sora, even if they appeared before him. Hell, Roxas' official render from KH3 has him holding them.

I just beat all the Org XIII Data characters on Proud and it was tough as hell. You make it look easy on Critical. You got a sub mate. Btw personally, I think Xion is the hardest out of the 13.
I guess it really doesnt matter what level you are if you have these Data battles patterns memorized to a T. It wouldnt have made a difference if will was Level 1 tbh. You dont get hit, you dont die. This guy got serious skills.. Im still picking up controller pieces of the ground.

So I’ve been trying to beat each boss in order on Proud Mode, however I made the mistake of going in straight ahead level 68. And now it’s giving me hell. I had to resort to using King’s Flare in this battle, and it still hurt. My GOD this battle was so ridiculously stressful jesus f*cking christ

With the exact same timing, sometimes I'm safe, sometimes I get hit. If he knocks you into the air, put down the controller, you're dead. Your air dodge has too much cooldown to be able to dodge in time with the speed of his attacks. To dodge him, you N-E-E-D to be on the ground using Dodge Roll. Nothing else is fast enough. That's why everything he does launches you into the air. One hit and you're dead. His DM is fucking awful. You NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED to be in the air to dodge his DM, which is entirely at odds with the rest of the fight REQUIRING you to be on the ground. And while in the air, if you get hit by one of his weapons, you're down to 1hp and stunned while falling to the ground to die, so it's a "one hit, you're dead" DM. The one part of his DM that doesn't auto-kill you is his shockwaves, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut figuring out the timing of when he uses them is goddamn impossible, and since you're high in the air the whole time, it's hard to get a feel for where you are in relation to them to be able to avoid them. And then after his DM, he goes right back into his berserk phase, which requires you to BE ON THE GROUND faster than you can fall from his DM that FORCES YOU INTO THE AIR, and his second attack that tries to swipe you into the air happens much faster than before. I've NEVER dodged that move and I fought this fucking boss literally HUNDREDS of times. And if you somehow, SOMEHOW, make it past all that and back into his calmer state, you can't flinch him. You just can't. I had Double Form repeatedly block-countering this guy. 8 counters, not a single damn flinch. And apparently Double's counter DOESN'T GIVE INVINCIBILITY so half the times I countered just left me getting smacked and instantly killed. Other inconsistencies between my end and the video: Ho w the fuck does he dodge that starting "It's over" move with Double Form? I can dodge that move with Dodge Roll every, single, time, easy, but Double's dodge is so fast that it gets hit by the shockwaves. I have NEVER dodged it with Double, so how does he manage in the video? Also, HOW IS HE BREAKING SAIX'S SUPER ARMOR SO MUCH!??!?!?!?!?!? I have attacked Saix during the same attacks at the same frames as the video and Saix DOES NOT FLINCH for me. 3:21 Right here. How? HOW does this happen? At least those had a damn strategy that could be followed, cheap as it was. These are just horrible.

After what i saw with isa in kingdom hearts 358/2 days to kingdom hearts 3, isa has become one of my favorite characters and feeling bad for defeating him.
Oblivion give you a very diluted version of reflect. But it wont matter here since most of his attacks cant be blocked and Im ripping out all my pubes in the process
Heres a tip if ur having trouble with his dm. Use simba and jump spam. When hes floating about to atk and u pounce on him ull do a stun juggle so his berserk meter will go down to 0 but ull still have enough time to still continue doing dmg to him
Thank you a lot.I tried doing this boss by trying to figure out a way to attack him while he goes berserk and I spent 2 hours dying.Then I used Simba and killed him in 2-3 tries.Then I went doing Vanitas and he was heaven compared to Saix,what a broken fight.

Tried this boss fights for over an hour yesterday and ultimately gave up. I had his patterns down pat but couldn’t dodge most of them correctly. After watching this vid now I believe I can do it
Did he get new battle cries? 0:17, 0:20, 2:46, 2:49. Didn't hear any of those in the KG fight, but it might be because that fight ended so quickly. Edit: I heard 0:20 in the DLC version of the KG fight, unsure about the others. Removed 4:17, that’s his “That’s all…” cooldown phrase and I just couldn’t hear it properly over the effects.
What I’m having a hard time with is when he throws the one claymore with the other 4 swinging out and you airstep I still get hit when they come back around.
This would be his moveset when entering his mirage form(Berserk Mode)in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Advanced Days(Published by Disney and Square Enix, developed by Platinum Games)before the meter regardless of using skills and consuming Mojo with the special attacks/magic goes up all the way thus activating Isa's finisher Umbral Lethality in the process before reverting back to normal.

My condolences, i just managed to beat him myself and i swear i'm never doing this again :D. If you haven't beat him yet try using Nano Gear keyblade´which has Stun Protection ability, so you won't get stunned by his throwing wheels. That's how i beat him.
I air step towards him when he does the claymore throw move and the four projectiles still hit me. How come you reliably avoid damage when you do this?
He isnt calling you slow to be rude, but some of these guys, "especially past a certain point of health" their windows become excruciatingly small. And if you dont already when its coming before he is about to even open up, you are already too late.

@@gagejoseph91 You just described how I felt after losing to this shitty boss for 2 hours.I never even once took him more than 4 health bars.I have no idea of what I am supposed to do to counterattack him while he goes super berserk.I die so fast that I am not able to learn anything from this fight.I tried the same things the uploader did but nothing,I keep dying over and over again.Example: 1:00 ,those goddamn things come back and hit me even if I manage to hit Saix while here if doesn't happen.How is this possible?I gave up on doing this on Critical,I hope it goes better on Proud.
It's crazy how easy you made this look, this fight laid me out so many times before I took him out on Standard.
Good chance here then to see how to deal with some of the harder stuff to avoid it seems patience plays a keyrole

After what i saw with isa in kingdom hearts 358/2 days to kingdom hearts 3, isa has become one of my favorite characters and feeling bad for defeating him.

Oblivion give you a very diluted version of reflect. But it wont matter here since most of his attacks cant be blocked and Im ripping out all my pubes in the process

Heres a tip if ur having trouble with his dm. Use simba and jump spam. When hes floating about to atk and u pounce on him ull do a stun juggle so his berserk meter will go down to 0 but ull still have enough time to still continue doing dmg to him
Thank you a lot.I tried doing this boss by trying to figure out a way to attack him while he goes berserk and I spent 2 hours dying.Then I used Simba and killed him in 2-3 tries.Then I went doing Vanitas and he was heaven compared to Saix,what a broken fight.
@@lordyozora234 lol sure links are pretty helpful in these fights, only fight i wouldnt recommend would be xemnas u can block most of his atks otherwise just dodge.

Tried this boss fights for over an hour yesterday and ultimately gave up. I had his patterns down pat but couldn’t dodge most of them correctly. After watching this vid now I believe I can do it

Did he get new battle cries? 0:17, 0:20, 2:46, 2:49. Didn't hear any of those in the KG fight, but it might be because that fight ended so quickly.
Edit: I heard 0:20 in the DLC version of the KG fight, unsure about the others. Removed 4:17, that’s his “That’s all…” cooldown phrase and I just couldn’t hear it properly over the effects.
Jesus Christ, you make him look so easy. He was by far the hardest Limit Cut boss for me.
What I’m having a hard time with is when he throws the one claymore with the other 4 swinging out and you airstep I still get hit when they come back around.
saix on kh3: I'm in berserk mode but you can keep stunning me... saix in kh2: i'm in berserk mode keep hitting me you're not even going to move me

It's not to flex. You gain some situation command with cure converter, and in CM an ability lets you build more situation gauges in mp recharge

Ive been on this guy for 3 hours straight with no luck. Only got him down to the last bar once . those damn stun axes keep sealing my doom.
Stun damage was one of the main reasons for my deaths. What kinda sick person gives a boss this relentless stun damage?!

If you haven't beat him yet try using Nano Gear keyblade´which has Stun Protection ability, so you won't get stunned by his throwing wheels. That's how i beat him.

I just realized he uses eclipse and magma storm on you like you did on him in kh2fm when he throws his claymore at you
I air step towards him when he does the claymore throw move and the four projectiles still hit me. How come you reliably avoid damage when you do this?

He isnt calling you slow to be rude, but some of these guys, "especially past a certain point of health" their windows become excruciatingly small. And if you dont already when its coming before he is about to even open up, you are already too late.
