Hi,thanx for tuning in.jimny is not underpowered.when you compare it to the other suv you may then find it comparitively underpowered,but it is also the lightest weight amongst the competition.So i would call it fairly poewered.you can easily overtake on uphills also.Thar and Gurkha are more powerful but are also way heavier.
Jimny is a nimble product you.Take a test drive and suit you power needs.
Personaly for me jimny is powered enough for every situation.In fact it's a lovely vehicle for hills.
