When would you put the elevation on it?
If the Jimmy is very heavy on a hill, should we lower the weight so that the Jimmy can climb?
How does the Jimny work with more weight?
It has nothing to do with 235, 235 if for width not hight, it s the 75 that a causing the problem
Watch from 6:00 minutes if you don't want to waste time. A 5 minutes video dragged unnecessarily.
which color is this, grey or black?
This is the bluish black color. Not the Grey.Jimny's only black color is the bluish black.Regards
Hello, What about tyre noise on the road ? Is it noticeable?
@@suryanshgautam4537 Greetings ,Well about the road noise,it's like a swarm of angry bees following you constantly.it does get noisy as compared to Highway tyres.MT tyres are even louder.ATs are still bearable. Hope that helps.regards
@@RoadsOfTheMountains So in comparison of the Roadcruza RA1100 and the Yokohama Geolandar AT. Specifically, I’d like to know which one is better in terms of road noise and after-sales support. Any insights you have would be greatly appreciated!
Very good and detailed information brother 👍
In simple words , larger circumference will lead to a torque deficit on a small capacity engine. Also the larger wheel weighs more. Rule of thumb for an Upsize setup is increase the wheel size by 1 inch and circumference by 3 %. Rubbing and touching is a petty issue.
thanks a lot for sharing. Previously i am in doubt to upgrade my 3 doors jimny tyre. Now i fully understood the impact of the upgrading to 235. I decide to stay on my 215 even though the looks is not as good as for those using 235.
235 is the width, yet everything you discussed has to do with the circumference of the tire. thought it was scraping the inner wall on full articulation. you just need a 40mm lift and you will be sorted, im more interested in the sidewall clearance on the inside with 235's

Extremely helpful video. Pls share ur views on - Can we engage 4L during a offroad hairpin turn climb in Ladakh mountain passes? Since u already mentioned that the wheels should not be turned during 4H 4L engagement. What does one do when climbing hairpin turn offroad mountains?
Hi,thanx for tuning in. During the OFF-ROAD hair pin turns you can engage 4L or 4H without hesitation. The loose terrain beneath the tyres will allow for easy movement after 4 X 4 engagement. But on paved or metalled Hairpins it is not recommended to use this system untill one is extremely stuck( which will not happen on paved roads). So yes you can use the 4 X 4 system on OFF-ROAD hairpins in mountains.Go ahead worry free. Regards
@@RoadsOfTheMountains thanks a lot.. tuning in for more of ur vids on jimny
Why are those chapris honking for no reason that too on empty hilly roads.
Que hay que modificar para que esas llantas no peguen en las tolvas de la defensa delantera ?
Hi,Thanx for tuning in. These tyres almost fit with the stock fitment.Only a slight modification has to be done to the front bumpers.(A slight cutting has to be done so that the wheel does not rub) Hope it helps. Regards
4 high is shift on the fly But to switch to 4 low ,completely stop the vehicle ,maintenance gear to neutral and then engage 4 L
It same in all 4x4 vehicles
Better use 185 85 R16 and remove sway bars 🤔
I Had the Older Jimny With 215/75/15 BFG Mud Terrains,Never Got Stuck With Standard Suspension and No Problems With Raising The Gearing Too Much,Which is a Problem Fitting Too Big Rolling Radius Tyes and it Messes The MPG up and Makes Steering Too Heavy.
Beautiful information
Thanx for keeping our efforts motivated.Regards
Bro, where are you ? No upload since very long.
Hi.Dear subscriber, Various occassions and important events of life has kept us busy.So could not upload since a long time. Would be getting back on track again.Thanx for staying connected.Regards
Excellent 👍
We appreciate your motivating words.Thanx for tuning in.
How r roadcruza, comforser tyres that has the look of bfg ko2s and maxxis 980s
Been confused with 215/225 or 235. So u dont have any issues with the 235 touching against the car body while steering, without an uplift!! Correct?
Hi,thanx for catching up. Keep it simple 215 for the most comfort, 235 for the best practical aesthetics 225 is best of both the worlds the middle way out. 235 does not interfere with clearance mostly, however the front bumper needs a slight trim for the best accomodation of the 235s. I have managed to live happily with my 235s without the lift. If you dont want to trim the bumper,go with 225s If you want most comfort and looks dont matter go with 215s. Regards.
Excellent.... Thigh audio could have been better
Hello, thanx for the appreciation,upComing videos will have a better audio.Your valuable feedback helps us a lot to grow better.Thanx for tuning in.Regards
Can we use 225 instead of 215 , 215 still looks small on Jimny
Hi,Thanx for tuning in You can definitely go for 225 with the jimny, yup 215 is small and looks childish, but be imformed 215 is the most comfortable tyre if not the most aesthetically appealing. Enjoy the jimny,Thanx
love your vids. love the simplicity you have and other video as well where you meticulously explained bout 2H, 4H, 4L . looking forwards for more as they come!
If on a tarmac steep incline should we use 4h or low?
Very nice location and explanation.

Thank you for your help to a new Jimny owner! I've heard it's a good idea to use 4WD regularly to keep it working well.
But won't engaging 4wd on a regular basis stress the axles?
@@epictetus__ Hi, don't really understand your question...as 4wd is what it is built for. (regularly, like anything, to stop it seizing up like air conditioning.)
Wher did u heard it brother 😂
In my opinion y he Brake Limited Slip Differential of the Jimny is too slow to react. I needs 4-5 full revolutions of the wheel before it understands to apply brakes to the spinning wheel transferring torque to the wheel not rotating. Other brands are much better at this. Meaning, if you want the AllGrip system of the Jimny to perform well you need to keep the engine rev’s at 3000-4000 for the AllGrip to understand what it needs to do. This is not always ideal, especially when rock crawling. Solution … Get one or two / front or rear/ or both differential lockers. In general there are three kinds of diff-lockers. 1. Air lockers. The best ones are from ARB in Australia. The cheap ones are Chinese copies using cheaper materials that brake - don’t buy them. Air lockers require a compressor. If an air-locker isn’t installed well air-lockers will leak air, I.e., will not engage. 2. Electro magnetic lockers, E-Lockets. Installation quality is important. E-lockers disengage if the vehicle reverse. It will only re-engage when more ving forward by 1-2 turns of the wheel. 3. Automatic lockers. These lockers are fully automatic. As long as the wheels on the same axle rotates at the same speed the differential is closed/locked. But when on high friction surface like tarmac making a turn the auto-locker will unlock itself to permit the outer wheel of the bend to turn faster than its mate on the same axle. The auto-locker is my favorite. It cost less than the other two, it’s more reliable, and it challenges me as its driver because I have to be mechanically empathic driving it. In my Gen3 Jimny o had a rear LockRight locker from Power Trax. It turned a very capable 4x4 to a mountain goat! Today I have a Gen4 Jimny with front and rear diff-lockers from Kaiser in Brazil. Yes, the lockers from ARB are the best. But for half the cost of the ARB’s I got two lockers from Kaiser. As I’m on a budget, I favor the Kaiser ones, hands down. Nothing will have as a great impact on capability of your 4x4 as one or two differential lockers. - Get them.
To engage 4H you don't have to set the main gear to neutral; it is on the ply shiftable!
Hi,your imformation is correct. But this one instatnce while uphill offroading i put my jimny in 2H fron 4H And inspite of that my front wheels remained engaged. They only disengaged after i neutralized my gearbox.Hence this imformation. I Have concluded from my personel experience that 2H to 4H on the go can be done while the vehicle is in a constant speed. When stationery it takes time to engage or disengage. Regards
I am hooked with your channel now due to the articulations . Kindly confirm fo we need to change the default rims to install 235 section AT tyres along with lift kit?
Hi.Thanx for the words of appreciation, We can install 235s with the stock rims and alloys.it can be managed with it.it's even better with lift kit installed.Thanx for tuning in.
Can u share video which explains offloading with automatic jimny .... I feel challenge with automatic then manual ... lastly the way you explained in the video is very commendable
Well explained! Thank you.
225/70 best tyre size for Jimny
Did you cut the bumper to avoid rubbing?
Hi,thanx for tuning in. Yes the bumper has a small useless rubber extension which one can get rid of to avoid the rubbing issues. That is all. The look of the bumper is not affected in any manner.Regards
A 5 minute video painfully dragged on for 15 minutes.
Do you get any rubbing at the front on full turns? Like having the steering at full lock at each side?
Thank you
Very well explained!💯

Mark my words when I say this.. until now I dint see anyone explaining a 4x4 in such a simple way... nice content... you got a new subscriber... Though I love Jimny I still prefer Hyundai Venue only bcz of 2 things 1. Creature comfort 2. Milage... Jimny is a very good car but the base zeta is still expensive on road... if maruti can set their alpha at 15lak on road n base @ 12lak, then jimny ll sell like hot cake..
Nice review , what size tyre do u have on the std 5.5j rims
The stabilizer reduce the suspension flex droop maybe a set of disconnectabel stabilizer links can help for more flex. Flex=Traction.
Very good, clear as crystal explanation of the 4wd System and dash ntification lights. I drove my new 5 door XL Jimny home today. Great video.
i am getting apollo apterra 235 . Shall i change exchange my 215 yokohama to them ? will there be any issue?
Hi,thanx for tuning in.The 215 size is the most perfect one can have for jimny. This size will not rub under extreme scenarios. After extensive testing we have observed that under full passenger and luggage load the 235 does rub onto the wheel arches. However the 235 is visually very appealing, but the downside is it rubs when articulated to extreme.People are happy with the 215s they have installed,if you have it you keep it simple.
