+Andrew Cheffy nothing wrong. Push hard with your palms... Use all your weight. They are just very very tough.

Much better tutorial than trying to follow the service manual. Haynes make it sound like far more effort, and it doesn't help when you have to keep jumping between different sections of the book and keep finding the part you need. Thanks :)

the detail in these videos is pretty spot on man. trying to find 07 gsxr 600 videos has been a painstaking process. could you make one on how to remove the rear seat cowl that has the key latch disconnected? i've been looking for the last few hours for one and nothing. i was in a wreck a while back and my cable came loose and i can't get it off. need to put on the new fairings.
I bought a wrecked bike recently and had the same problem, I had to reach in to the mechanism with a coat hanger and pull the latch

You could get down your tank unscrewed one bold and undo few hoses to have work free area, but good job anyway...... ;-)

Thanks for posting this video. What size was the extension you used to get to the spark plug?
It looks to be about three inches with a swivel adapter added on.

is there 2 screws to loosen or just the 1 @ 5:05? My bike is returning in a few days and I'm just looking for what tools I may need as I have absolutely nothing aha

Was it not easier to remove the tank altogether, that's what I do, its only few fuel pipes stuck underneath

My airbox clamps have annoying torx screws instead of philips
I replaced my plugs and the plug threads were really wet. Why would they be wet with oil? Leaking journals?
How long is the screwdriver?
How tight should the spark be should I use torque range
Where do u get a spark plug socket?? Can u get from AutoZone??

Where did you buy the seat cowl for your bike?
man i wish my 98 had those side screws for the seat instead of haVing to pry the seat back to get to them
The spec is 0.7/0.8 or 9.7/9.8 can’t really hear or see the numbers on the manual book ( don’t have 1 )
Before you try tgis and get the whole bike tore up pkease have a rubber inserted spark plug remover i got all the way to the spark pkug only to figure out you cant remove it withlut your own soark plug remover the one in the bike wont eork

It says "Arrow" right on the can, I'd bet that's the brand ;)
The only bit that's kicking the crap outta me is getting the air box on the throttle bodies........and you didnt show it !!?

They are fitting very cheap crap plugs at that price, four good iridium plus would cost almost that itself, and their labour charges must be peanuts lol
