Did you notice a performance gain? I have a 2011 gsxr 600 and I bought it second hand and my bike feels slow, I think it’s time for new spark plugs if this is the case
@@chase1up_2.0 yea I think that’s what’s missing with mine, at first i thought it was because the throttle cable was loose so the throttle had a lot of play, I fixed that, and my throttles better but it’s still lacking the torque around 6-7. I also cleaned up the air filter like in your video as well but it’s about due for a replacement
Seems complicated so many screws and pieces to remember what goes where 😅 just ordered some spark plugs and a bmc air filter my gsxr still has the originals
Do an image search for 'bmc air filter failure' Probably fine in the short term but you're better off running the suzuki filters, they flow very well for a stock filter and protect the engine better.
Thanks for this man. I’ll be doing this for the first time on my 2011 gsxr 750.
Awesome! Good luck! 👍🏻
Thanks for making this video. Will be doing the plugs on my 2020 GSXR 750 soon and this helps a ton.
Thanks was a great video
you use a gap tool for the new plugs or just toss them in as is?
its called a ignition coil

It won’t make it faster, but it will make it more peppier and responsive, having clean spark to it.

Any tricks to getting the airbox back in with those rubber boots
I normally try to dive that part of the box in first but honestly it’s all just a pain in the butt anyways!🤣🤣
@Chase1up _2.0 yup just figured it out got it all back together and realized I forgot those little black pin things for the boots lol
What type of spark plugs did you use?
NGK CR9EIA-9
