Tip: When screwing them in, first turn them counterclockwise until you feel a click and you'll know you're at the start of the thread.

Gotta love gsxrs man. The easiest of all the manufactures to work on I swear. I self taught myself everything and learned to work on my bike(s) through youtube and trial and error. Something as simple as sparkplugs always intimidated me when I owned my R6, especially because the clearance with the frame was so tight, and the plugs were so stupid hard to reach. I'll never forget taking my airbox off for the first time on my GSXR1000 and just being baffled at how much room I had to work with on the head of the engine.

Oh my god the GSXR 1000 is soooo much easier looking to get to the top end of the motor than my MT-10. Good to know I may be swapping to the GSXR one day. Thanks for the vid.

Newer GSXR1000 is a little bit more work because of the extra electrics, ride by wire throttle etc. But the 2016 and older and the 750/600 are all like this.

If u don't have a socket with a grommet a old car plug wire works great clip the wire off and use the long end 💯💪

You mean a universal knuckle for the socket. Use a rubber hose over the plug to start threads. Anti seize compound can be used on threads too. Take pics or vids as you dissemble.

Recommended torque is 8 Ft/lbs....if you don't tighten them enough the crush washer won't compress and they will leak.....tighten the plugs so the sealing washers compress, back off and tighten again.

I don’t get these guys in the comments. I mean, they’re good for views so whatever I guess. They think you’re wrecking your sh!t but if they heard you talk for 5 seconds in any video they’d know you care very much about your bikes. Maybe watching 6 minute videos is asking too much? Can they really not see it’s an edit? All the audio is added in post and it’s literally impossible for me not to see it and I know nothing about editing. wtf

That's gotta be a 0.028" gap. A 0.28" gap would be huge for a spark plug electrode!

Off topic but - Soon, there is going to be the rapture. It's when there will be trumpet sounds, and after the trumpet sounds, God will lift his people from here. Also, God said people should be living by the Bible. Amen, and God bless you.
    * John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
