  • Hey everybody, welcome back to my channel! If you are newly subscribed, visiting for the first time or returning to simply check in with me (Thank You & Welcome!) I have a lot of great videos here, and I'm sure something you'll enjoy!
This exhibit, 'Spirit in the Dark' at the National Museum of African American History and Culture can be interpreted in many ways. That's the fun part of going to museums in general; it's all about the many different ways people can interpret the SAME exhibit or piece of art.
To me, this exhibit felt like a collective national Black Family Photo album! We all recognize these figures or at least most of them. Flipping thru this digital look-book, shows that these accomplished individuals really were people like you and me. Every day folk, doing the best they can dealing with whatever "life" threw their way. I believe Faith (however that is defined for individuals) is at the very core of succeeding while overcoming life in this country and around the world as African Americans.
The Spirit (of resilience, hope, creativity, generosity & joy) in the Dark times WE ALL deal with from time to time (past, present and future) will continue to catapult us onward and upward. We're all in this 'thang' called life together. Until next time friends, be safe & keep going! #onedayatatime xx~pc
