Hi there, it's been a little while (this is becoming a trend). But look. Honestly, I wasn't even planning to make any Wrath Classic launch videos, I was working on a FFXIV video before this. But as it launched, I thought about it a bit, and just decided to do it anyway. So I put my other work to the side and focused on this.
Now, I've been happily unsubbed from WoW for over a year now, but Wrath has to be the expansion that I've played the Most and feel the fondest of. That's what really got me into WoW and where I made so many memories. So, I thought... why not?

Thanks be to the... the arbiter? I guess? Is god of Azeroth? For the Jailer and his divine plan to create a few good stories before he revealed it was all one really bad one including a dream sequence where the planet got stabbed.

My favorite part about these "launch experience" videos is that the player base is (and always has been) the greatest threat in all of Azeroth.
We are the true scourge
The PC in Azeroth will literally wipe out the population of an entire town or genocide a whole species of animals if it means getting a piece of armor.

With all the mass genocides the players are involved in… yeah. Imagine. If a necromancer just went behind a player after every kill quest and raised everything. That would be one insane army.
For every one player, there’s anywhere from 4-30 creatures we’d fight.
and after shadowlands it was confirmed that every player is canon to the universe. That means there are millions of "chosen ones" because every player is confirmed to be an offspring of Azeroth itself, from the days of the Voidlords. Thus, you are all absolutely canon and all exist at the same time.
@@Kugrox if we are all canon at all times? Then how about the 12 million people that shot Farmer Kabala, or Snarlmange? What about the thousands of people that killed Dardosh in Alterac Valley and he’s mysteriously in Wintergrasp? How about the thousands of “ancient family jewelry, one of a kind” that’s passed to everyone that collects eight boar asses?
HOW MANY TIMES HAS HEMET NESSINGWARY LOST HIS BOOK?
I love the way you depict the WoW playerbase as an unstoppable force of chaos that smashes its way through the land like a locust swarm.
It's pretty much a documentary for how accurate it is.

Gosh... It bums me out that Blizzard just can't seem to do anything quite right. Like, seriously, this is content from 10 years ago, and they've released the other 2 classics... But they just don't seem to care. It feels great to not give them any more money

Can't believe The Jailer nerfed the Invincible drop rate
if only the jailer would drop a mount called Invisible
Nerfed the wingspan too, and after it looks plain ugly too.
I've never seen Invincible drop, in fact I've never seen Invincible.

that means eventually there will be a $50 bundle for all the death knight mounts including invincible, headless horsemen mount, and baron rivendares mount.
shame you cant sell that mount it's dropped 5 times for me over the years
The boat lagging over the sea was too real. Our first boat sailed to the edge of the map and disappeared, making everyone fall into the sea. Really glad I went on the 2nd boat (that worked).
We also had opposing druids and shamans WAITING for the boat just so they could Typhoon/Thunderstorm everyone off on the 1st boat. It was hilarious.
0:37 Even in a polygonal eye that doesn't blink so much as overlap a "closed eyelid" texture over it, you still managed to make those eyes glisten with tears.

The panic Arthas displays when he is trying to refreeze was like me pressing the "Reconnect" button after a disconnect.
Pickles in this 3 minute video had more depth and story than the last 3 expansion together.

I'll be honest: I felt more joy and sadness and hope for the friendship between Pickles and the Necromancer in those five seconds than I ever did for Sylvanas' beginning and end (thanks to Steve Danuser's leadership).

I miss the players dying of exhaustion when the ship unaccountably ditches them at sea. Ah, the good old days.
Pretty silly not to like the start of her story, since it used to be some of the best stuff.
The blue and red lich king line being the obvious 'fell out of my chair laughing at work' but the snuck in "Arthas, do you wanna know what a vulpera is!?" takes the cake

My highest char is level 73 and I feel like a total noob. It seems like everyone and their mother is already raiding while I am still finishing up Howling Fjord
yea a lot of people will want to min-max/speedrun the crap out of the game, but the best way to play is to just play at your own pace and not focus on them. nothing noob about that
