Can't reinforce enough how important it is to disconnect batteries during any work in the V. The positive alternator terminal is always "live" directly connected to the battery. It's very easy to short during any part of intake removal process... and that's a huge short.

I am super thankful you taking the time and effort to create these videos. These videos give me the hopes and confidence of being able to do this myself. My big question is without the time you spend doing all the video work and extras, how many actual hours do you guesstimate for the the total job??

If you have all the tools, and take your time, it would take around 12-14 hours. Split it into 2 days... and set the car to the lowest setting (if you have air suspension), or, depending on your height, maybe stand on a spare tire or something to give you more reach...

Thanks that gives me a rough idea what I am up to. I have air and are tall so no issues there lol. And I am in no hurry, so really appreciate your quick reply. Thanks 👊
